Hi ladies

I sold a bearn wallet in nov 18 from Aust to USA, the buyer received it and I have eBay msg confirmed it, she also asked if the wallet was authentic and I said yes, she then replied “ok” acknowledging my msg.

She’s now filing a chargeback on the credit card and I received an email from PayPal saying that she didn’t authorized the purchase. PayPal said I don’t have do to anything now and they will review the case. However it got me concerned and I’m a bit worried how this gonna play out.

Anyone has experience with this?

Also sellers on here please beware of this ID pimpim210. How could she argue that she’s not authorizing the transaction after she received the good and acknowledged it?

It's interesting that pimpim210 changed her ID (on Dec. 25) to pimshop.

I have a couple of concerns.

1. You say you sold from Australia to US, the buyer's location is shown as Thailand.
2. Did you ship through the GSP program?
3. Although PP says not to worry, I'm guessing there's a hold on your money. Call paypal and get them to look at the transaction, see that it's "eligible" for seller protection against unauthorized use chargebacks and that they should release the funds.
4. For a seller herself to do this to another seller is reprehensible!

You have to stay on top of them to make them protect you!

Sorry it was actually to thailand. I checked my tracking.

I uploaded my tracking to eBay before, and I checked PayPal they already have the tracking info, but somehow it was linked to usps so I submitted it again to change it to australia post. I also screenshot the convo with her showing that she said she received it..funny she even left positive feedback on my account! She also has like 80+ positive feedbacks why would she be doing it?

At the moment it doesn’t seem like PayPal withheld any moeny? I can still move my funds from my PayPal account to my bank..

Unless they withheld money without letting me know?

This is something I don’t like PayPal , they can charge whatever from my bank without notifying me!

Laurkno_1 submitted her best offer I counteoffered her and than she did. I accepted her offer and almost 8 hours later I received this “Sorry found a new 1 cheaper thanks though”

Wow I hate when they do this! I had a sale, buy it now price. Within two hours request for cancellation because she was able to find it in the store! [emoji82]

I wanted to share my very unfortunate story on here with chargeback on PayPal.

They have “closed” my case saying I wasnt eligible for seller protection because the buyer paid as guest check out.

I tried to contact the buyer via eBay and it seems she has blocked me.

Now I have a negative 4 digit balance in my PayPal account, PayPal said the credit card company is gonna review it, but it’s a very obvious case, they are of coz gonna protect their card owner and charge me who has no relation to their business!

I feel sick to my stomach and disgusted and I’m thinking about putting PayPal to fair trading. I have provided them with my tracking details at the beginning of the month and they only filed this to the credit card company today.

Also sellers on the forum please really be aware of this ID she seems very legit by looking at the feedback but I just found out she has changed her ID 5 times in one year time!

Oh no! I'm so sorry.

Go to the paypal transaction page for that sale. For seller protection, does it show as "Eligible" as shown here because if so, they MUST have your back against unauthorized use disputes.

PayPal told me I’m not eligible for seller protection as she checked out as guest. I actually didn’t know this is one of criteria and apparently I need to contact PayPal to manually deactivate this on their side..

It seems like she’s selling medications? I tried to contact her on eBay but she blocked me, obviously she received my goods and don’t wanna return it so she blocked me!!! And can not believe PayPal has sided her way!! [emoji17]
