I got an email from ebay entitled "Buyers are looking at your listing!" In the body it says "We'll send an email to interested buyers when you lower your price." What makes them think I want to lower my price?

If it's been 48 hours since the auction ended, you can file an Unpaid Item claim with ebay. They'll contact her and give the buyer a set amount of time (can't remember if it's 48 or 72 hours) to pay you and complete the transaction. If the buyer doesn't pay by then, ebay will reverse the final value fee you were charged and you can list your item again. The buyer also will get an unpaid item strike on their record.

Thank you. I was hesitating because she has 100% feedback from hundreds of purchase :( I guess I will have to report.

Sometimes people do forget, especially if they are buying lots of items. They usually pay when they see the unpaid item claim filed. However, sometimes they still ignore it and take the strike. I've had both situations. It's odd. That's another reason I like BINs since you can require immediate payment.

Look at this ridiculous tracking. Mailed out on 6/29, was undeliverable as addressed 7/1, somehow started going back to its destination on 7/14 and now hasn't updated since it has been out for delivery. I'm so glad that this is a $5 item.

I bought an item from a zero feedback seller and it was perfect. I gave her glowing feedback with lots of exclamation points! She just gave me this feedback: "good."

Maybe they don't understand the Ebay process yet. I don't think most sellers care about the details as long as the transaction had a positive comment.
The only time I get pissed is when I leave a seller positive feedback and he never takes the time to give me feedback.

Ebay is getting as bad as Poshmark encouraging all this price negotiation. If it's not listed as an auction buyers should expect to pay the price posted. Ebay is getting annoying. I miss the good ole days when you could just list your items until someone purchased them without all this price haggling.

So someone won an auction but want me to cancel because they can't pay since their CC apparently got stolen.

How do I do this? I'll have to still pay the fees right? [emoji17]
You will get your fees back. If she hasn't paid yet, you won't lose anything. On your orders page, click on cancel order and for the reason, buyer request.

I am fed up with USPS in my new area. The postman just skips days that I ask for pickup whenever he feels like it. I now have two days worth of boxes waiting for pickup and tomorrow it will be three when I box up the new sales. Its gonna totally suck for me to have to take one hour out of my work day in order to head to the post office every day or every other day, but that's clearly what I am going to have to do, since he just determines when he will and wont come by. I would hate to see my rating go down, but thats gonna happen if I expect the service that they offer.

On a happier note, my ebay sales seem to be going well. I cant wait until September when I have more time to invest in my refurbishing and sales venture.

That annoys me too. If they don't give feedback within about a week, I'll ask for it but the request often goes ignored. I've also noticed that a lot of sellers will withhold their feedback until the buyer posts their own ( at least that has been my experience as a buyer). If the buyer paid on time I don't see why the seller wouldn't consider it a 5 star transaction.

As a seller I wouldn't ever recommend posting feedback first. It's the feedback the buyer gives that has an effect on the seller's ratings and not the other way around. It's a five star transaction when I get positive feedback. [emoji41]
