I can't seem to sell any bags. It has been so frustrating. My prices are low, 75% or more off retail for pre-owned items that are in excellent condition, some like new, and all are contemporary designers.

I think it is the time of the year. Many people spent a lot of money for Christmas and enjoying their presents.

I agree 100%.

Many people are still recovering from Christmas, it's only Jan.
Feb brings Valentine's Day- perhaps wives will be asking their husbands for new handbags.

I know that's what I bought for my husband to give me. :p See what I did there.. :graucho:
He always gives me the best gifts- LOL
Sales will pick up soon..

I purchased an item from Switzerland and the seller could not thank me enough for giving Her 5 Star feedback. I then had to ask the question "Why?". And the Seller told me some really bad horror stories from Members "Claiming INR". I am so glad I don't sell on eBay (or anywhere else), just consign for me. She did tell me she checked my Feedback (the item was a BO), and that made her comfortable selling too me. I really feel for ALL you Genuine Sellers, there are Buyers like me that Do Not file "Claims". (unless the item is a Fake)
I don't understand Feedback that is Negative? BUT - The buyer states "should have been a positive"?. So what..They keep a list of Sellers to Neg? WTH! :cray: And it's just not one Seller, I see it all the time when I leave positive feedback. SMH. :weird:

No bags selling here either. They never do after the holidays. Pretty common this time of year. Everyone just spent boat loads. But you can get some great deals if you want to buy! [emoji6]

Thanks - was just coming to ask whether anyone else was experiencing slow or no sales. I have lots of watchers but no buyers so put it down to the post Christmas, post sales period. Hope it picks up in February.

Hi, trying to buy a louis vuitton neverfull bag off of ebay. I do not know if it is authentic though. Help please.

Here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUTHENTIC-L...b95c183&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=6&sd=191777818350

Welcome to tpf. There are authentication threads for all designers here, this is link to LV one and if you navigate to page 1 of thread you will see authenticators requirements of you.

Each authentication thread has these requirements and general threads like these won't be the place to get an answer on whether items are genuine, or counterfeit.

I shipped my "first" first class package since the new rates went into effect. Everything under 8 ounces ships for the same price: $2.60. Since a lot of my items are under 3 ounces, that is a 56 cent increase for me. You can ship up to 1 pound first class now.

I noticed that! I wish I remembered how much it used to cost for 8 oz. I wonder if heavier first class prices are slightly lower now.

I don't think so. I shipped a 10 ounce package on 13th for $3.07. Now that same parcel is $3.94 on USPS. 11 ounces was $3.25. I could have sworn I checked for a 16 ounce package on ebay and it was less than that. I'm not even seeing a 16 ounce first class package option on USPS. It looks like they didn't change their postage calculator to include items over 13 ounces.

I just did a quick search.

A 7 oz. package I'd shipped was $2.53 so although I didn't find an 8 oz one, it would have been 9 cents more--$2.62. So on 8 oz., we're saving. (And 9 oz. was $2.71 before the price change.)
