Aren't there some auto-fill feedbacks a seller can opt to use?I sold something to a low feedback buyer. By the time I packed up her item, she had received 3 new feedbacks. When I looked at them, they were all from different unrelated large sellers but all said the exact same thing: "Great communication. A pleasure to do business with."
I thought it was an odd coincidence.
Not that I know of. I have auto-fill turned on in my browser so I can copy previous feedback I've typed, but I don't know of anything provided by ebay. I thought it was odd that they all mentioned communication since in most cases, my buyers don't need to communicate with me.Aren't there some auto-fill feedbacks a seller can opt to use?
Ah, that makes sense. I've only ever used my desktop.I get a drop down box with feedback options or I can type my own. I think that is one of the options.
It's weird though because if I go to leave feedback from my desktop that dropdown box isn't there but it is on my laptop.

Yes I have noticed that. I didn't realize it was an ebay thing; I thought it was my browser. When you leave FB it's auto saved so the next time you leave FB if you start with the same word/words it will pop up as an auto-fill.
I have about 3 dozen in a drop box & depending on how I start off, different ones pop up in the drop box.
I just thought it weird that three unrelated sellers would have left the exact same wording.I always use eBay on my iPhone and the feedback comments are always already automatically entered as what I entered for the previous feedback. Therefore, the feedback I leave would be exactly the same every time if I did not purposefully edit it. So it may be a smartphone thing.

Thanks! I had no idea.If you use Selling Manager on eBay, there are already automatic feedback options there which you can edit, add to or just leave & use. That is one of the automatic feedback wordings on there (I believe we have used or still use it as one of ours), so it's not impossible that 3 different users would have it & have used (or eBay automatically selected) that one. Weird coincidence, but possible![]()
EBay is killing me gals. I hope someone had some advice. I have sold almost 80 handbags online. All with no issues. I just sold a brand new Kate Spade and the buyer just told me the strap is not in the bag I KNOW it was! She has requested a return but I don't want a handbag that doesn't have a strap on it. She probably threw it away with all of the paper. Does anyone have any experience on how eBay will handle this because I can't afford to have a return that I can resell because it doesn't have a strap!!!
Update- she has found the strap and loves the bag!
