Dear xxxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding your case PP-xxxxxxx.

I have read your email and understand your frustration.

However we need to receive valid documentation in order to close the case in your favour.

If you decide to do a chargeback via your credit card company, then the case PP-001-582-675-918 will be closed and you will loose your buyer protection.

Therefore we kindly ask you to provide the requested documentation within the timeframe.

Perhaps you can go to a store that is licensed to sell Ugg Australia and get documents from them.

If we do not received the requested documentation within the provided timeframe, then the case will be closed in the seller's favour.

Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Yours sincerely,

xxxxxxxxx

:rolleyes::rolleyes::pout::pout::pout::pout::pout:

It seems like I will lose the case since today was the last day to add any additional information, but it doesn't matter I don't even want their 'help'. I hope it will go well with my credit card company at least.

I have no idea how these things work, but I wanted to end the claim but it said that if I do I'll agree that the case has been resolved..so I didn't. Also it says if I end it it won't be possible for me to re-open it, but I thought decisions like these were final?

WTF? Your buyer protection didn't do squat for you anyway. So what if you file a chargeback? At least you'll get your money back and that's all you want.

And be sure to leave that seller a big fat negative feedback with a comment specific to selling fake Uggs. That way, even if she changes to private listings, the "fake Uggs" comment will indicate what you bought.

I know and I have stated that I want to end it so I don't understand why she is acting as if I have any time left to add some new documentation today was the last day.

I'm just going to take this as an expensive lesson. I have never filed a chargeback, never have experienced something like this, so I don't know what my cc company's policiies are fake goods, maybe I;ll just file significantly not as described, but again I don't want to risk customs seizing the item and for me to get in a lot of trouble (My boyfriend actually works at a callcenter for Deckers/UGG's and he told me that they do try to seize as many as possible especially in England)

Do I have to let the seller know that I'll be filing a chargeback with my cc company (if possible, I'm waiting for them to mail me the papers in which everything is stated, thus I haven't reviewed those specific policies yet, and where I can request a chargeback right away)?

So yeah :-s and originally I had won the case with significantly not as described, but I didn't want to risk getting into trouble with the authorities. =( Oh well

Weird though how I chose significantly not as described--> imitation and it seemed to me like a program had made the decision and not an actual representative, I also got the results within two days.

P.S. Will Paypal charge me with fees if I lose the case?

No, don't even contact the seller. The seller is a scammer and deserves to be hit with a chargeback fee.

As I said in your other thread, if this ever happens again, for SNAD, file with ebay. Ebay is more apt to rule in your favor for SNAD and Paypal is better for INR claims.

I have a quick question.

Buyer opened claim "Not Receiving Item"

I provided tracking number but it looks like postal service didn't scan it during the time of delivery.

It was international priority mail to UK, and I told buyer that I contacted my local post office and they told me that recipient should contact their postal service in order to file a claim.

So a month past after I sent that message and buyer is not responding at all.

Paypal is still holding my fund just in case and I have an option to escalate this claim to ebay for final decision.

Should I do escalate? I just want to close it up.

And there's a chance that buyer received the item, because last time me as a buyer bought a good and seller's provided tracking didn't show up but item is delivered.

What should I do, help please.

You say you used priority mail. If you shipped in either the flat rate envelope or small flat rate box, d.c. won't show. Other priority shipments should show delivery.

Unfortunately, unless there's proof of delivery, the buyer will win the dispute. And sadly, there are dishonest buyers who watch tracking and file claims (even if they get the item) if they see that it wasn't scanned on delivery.

Wait for the claim to close itself if your buyer isn't responding. Like BB, without delivery confirmation, you will lose the case.

Would it also be possible that the package just wasn't scanned at delivery or information was never uploaded into the system?

Next time, you should use Express international. I think that's the only trackable international shipping method.

That's not true. Priority mail with the exception of small FRB and FRE does track. The problem would be with a lazy or negligent mailman who doesn't scan it. If the carrier doesn't scan it on delivery, the same thing can happen with any mail service.

Whoops thanks for correcting me. I have only shipped to Canada using priority International. I learn something new every day.:smile1:
