I received the following email from EBay this am..FINALLY!!!

"We're writing to let you know that this listing for an item you won or bid on is no longer available:

260911318701 - AUTH LOUIS VUITTON Graffiti Peach Long Wallet Limited Edition Rare to see

We understand this may be disappointing, but occasionally we need to remove listings. In this case, the listing was removed because the copyright or trademark owner of this product reported that the item may be counterfeit.

Here's more information on eBay's policy concerning replicas, counterfeit items, and unauthorized copies:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/replica-counterfeit.html"

And also the re-listed wallet has been removed as well. Hopefully that buyer gets their money back. Luckily I never paid (thanks again Lee!)

Wow! That is such a relief!:sweatdrop:

I just received my email from Ebay saying they rule in favor of me!! I purchased a bag 11/21 (immediate cleared payment) & seller never shipped, never responded to my 8 or so emails, never responded or refunded me when I opened my buyers protection case last week. Only when I escalated the case yesterday - did I finally get all of my money back! So relieved & happy.

I left negative feedback - now her feedback score is down to 91%. She did this to a few other people. The odd part is she had hundreds of positive comments such as "superfast shipping, wonderful seller, great communication, etc." There was no excuse to put an item up for sale, take your money & not send item or communicate.

She has another item up for sale too. I know she has been around because I saw that she made a purchase a few days after I purchased the bag from her. Oh well, I guess her feedback is not important to her.

I will be more careful next time!

^^^ You'd have a lot more options if you opened your mind to other sellers. ;)

I will - I just have to be a little more cautious. I know most people are generally honest. Like I said before, I had over 30 transactions on Bonanza & all were absolutely perfect! I also had one awsome out of 2 transactions on ebay. I will not give up on ebay!

My comment wasn't directed at you. There was a post removed where a pf'er was advertising her own items.

Hello everyone,
I have a question about paying in person for items purchased on ebay. I swore the seller accepted paypal but now she wants a bank transfer. I said no and she offered to bring me the item and I pay in person. Risks? Benefits?
The risk I see is that I have no recourse if something is wrong. Benefit is I see the item in person. What if I deem the item counterfeit? I suppose I am not obliged to pay. The photos look good and communication excellent.
TIA

hi everyone:D i would like your opinions on this situation...
i have recently purchased the chanel bag on ebay. i won the auction for $1025. its been almost a month and still hasnt gotten the bag due a mix up. lol i had received instead a book from the seller and had to return it and she sent me a bag fianlly and its probably going to be here tomorrow or sat.. hopefully. shes been very responsive and i am crossing my finger that she sent me a right item this time and the bag will be authentic. sigh.. i never had to wait this long for an item purchsed within US. but ive been wanting the bag for some time and thought it was worth waiting and shes been really responsive so I wasnt upset or anything about delayed shipping...
BUT!!! I found out seller is shill bidding!! I didnt notice at first but my sister noticed and told me to take a look!!! I am 99.9% sure she is shill bidding... she has other two ids that are being used to bid on her items..
I took a look at all of her current and recently sold items... every one of her item has these two ids making bids.. and those two ids made bids on the bag i won too... in fact, one of those bidder is the only bidder that bid agaisnt me from $800 and up. sigh...
What confirmed that she was shill bidding is that one of those bidders actually ended up being a high bidder in auction for a burberry scarf.. the bidder who had 0 feedback before left her a feedback for the item ONE day after the auction ended lol.. and she left the bidder a feedback right after and she relisted the item right after lol!!
and again that same id is back to bidding on her other items..........
I am waiting on the bag but now i know shes shill bidding, i am upset... Do i think the bags still a good deal? yes.. but just the thought of me anxiously bidding on the item while in truth its the seller bidding on her item to raise the price makes me really sad and upset:( and truthfully, I do feel cheated out of money... now i am very torn.. should I report this to ebay and have ebay cancel the transaction? but she's been very nice and i donno if I really should report her...but then again, she will be doing this over and over again if I dont report her... or should I just confront the seller myself and return the bag for refund??? ahhhh!!!
what should I do????

That is a tough one. If you feel like you still got a deal and you want the bag keep it. Report her actions to ebay so they may watch her future auctions. Let her know you will be reporting her for shill bidding. My two cents but as i stated it's a tough one. Wait for the wise and powerful beenburned to respond, she know these things!;)

I am not questioning whether you are correct in your thinking, but before you threaten the seller and report the shilling, be sure it's actually happening.

I don't mind if you PM me the seller's listings and I'll take a look at them and advise. If the seller is shilling, then chances are that even if the bag is authentic, you overpaid for it.

But again, what sometimes might appear to be shill bidding is not always the case.

hi:D thank you for the advise! i will pm you the seller's listings. all the listings have ended.. i have listing # for couple of them that has ended. also both ids i am talking about have one feedback now from the seller herself. please take a look and let me know.i will also give you the listing # of auction Ive won.. i don't know even know if the bags authentic.. i havent gotten it yet. i think if it was authentic, its a good deal... not many bids i think because seller didnt take time to make the auction look good... the pictures i have gotten from the seller looked promising so i made a bid.. but regardless of all, i just feel its unfair for her to do that instead of putting more time and effort into attract more legit bids..sigh.. hopefully i will get the bag today and be able to get it authenticated. hopefully bags authentic. thank you for your help!!!

I'm new here, and I don't know if this is the correct place to do this. But I have recently purchased a pair of authentic UGG's from a seller whose located in Manchester, U.K. After some delay in shipment (and after already having paid for the item) the seller let's me know that the item is being shipped from China and not Manchester, U.K. as described!

So after a month I received the item, and yep, it turned out to be a fake. I requested an authentication from authenticate4u, and Paypal (since I have started a dispute based on item significantly not as described --> imitation, and later escalated it to a claim, since the seller wanted me to ship it to a non-verified address by Paypal, in China) and they first ruled in my favor. But I filed that it was an imitation, so I sent them an e-mail telling them that it is illegal to ship counterfeit items and if it were to be seized by customs I can expect a nice fine and so on. (this is also my first time with this problem).

So Paypal requested proof that the item was counterfeit, and so I requested one from authenticate4u, whom have found it to be a clear counterfeit item. Now Paypal has sent me an e-mail today that they will not be accepting the authentication. I have also e-mailed them letting them know exactly how I feel. How can they sometimes accept authentications from the same person and sometimes reject it? And I demanded a list of people whom they would accept since I do not have a tree with money growing on it. I definitely gave them a piece of my mind, they didn;t even let me know on which grounds they are not accepting the authentication. :-s

I don't know what to do now, all I can think of is to ask CarolDiva, but what if they don't accept her authentication as well? The item is a clear fake.
