The time frame for buyer to make payment is that's by seller's listing or by Ebay policy 4 days?

Seller won't be able to file a NPB strike until 4 days. So while the listing may require immediate payment, the buyer technically has up to 4 days to pay. However, if the buyer is going to take a bit to pay and the seller asks for immediate payment, it's good form to message the seller and explain the situation.

Also, if the item is a BIN the seller may have it set up so that the item isn't actually sold until payment is made. This means that another buyer can buy the item until then. I hope this helps!

Heya gals. I'm sorry for crashing in but as a new member, I am not able to set up a thread yet. Thus posting this here. I need advice as I'm freaking out. After reading all the members being cheated by fakes...

I just bought 2 prada wallets on ebay. 1 for my mother, while the other for my mother-in-law. The seller sold them to me at USD 180 and USD 150 respectively. Said that they were authentic. I'm still waiting for the items on hand to arrive but anyone has any clue if these items are authentic from the pics shown?

Welcome to tpf! :welcome:

The links say the listings were removed. Have you tried posting in the Prada Authentication thread? http://forum.purseblog.com/prada/authenticate-this-prada-read-rules-prior-posting-please-617124.html

ETA: You can't copy and paste ebay links from your old posts, b/c they're shortened. You need to copy and paste the link directly each time you post.

You'll have more luck posting in the Prada auth thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/prada/authenticate-this-prada-read-rules-prior-posting-please-617124.html

I'm not a Prada authenticator, but at the very least you'd need clear, close pics of the wallet, esp. markings, stamps, metal details and auth/serial card.

Agreed. Welcome Sabrina! No apologies needed for crashing in.. that's one of the things this thread is for: providing Newbies an opportunity to post their issues.

However, as Flipdiver says, you really need to post authenticity questions in the Prada Authenticate area. Good luck!

As a seller do you acknowledge payment from the buyer when you receive it, I know Paypal send confirmation but as a courtesy.

Yes, as a seller I do. I usually thank them for the sale and let them know when I will ship, etc. It's just a courtesy. However, as a buyer, I don't get those messages often and if there's at least tracking to let me know it's been shipped, then that's ok. But if there is no tracking and no communication, I get antsy until the item arrives.

...and those paypal mails seem to take 3 days to arrive!
I don't always acknowledge payment separately - if I am able to post next day I'll get back to the buyer with shipping confirmation, but if it will be a couple of days (weekend or bank holidays) then I will send a courtesy note. ;)
