How are you certain is shilling? Can't believe for how low they sold actually... I wish they would have been my size...

If you look at the bid history the one bidder is brand new to ebay, and has 100% bid history with this seller and this item.... Ie they've never bid on anything before. Everytime a bid was placed they up'd there bid immediately. The shoes went up 200 in a hour that way

I also believe that it's shill bidding.

The same 0-feedback bidder who bid on the shoes also bid and retracted her bid on the completed listing for a Prada bag that the seller had. An independent bidder retracted a bid which would have left the shiller as the only bidder so she retracted it.

At least they're dumb enough to make their illegal activities obvious.

I actually called it in and formally complained and was told by ebay that it was definetely suspicious thats all they would say

I think the authenticity issue is going to be moot once PP finds out that you have already posted the dress back and you have his messages via ebay saying that he agreed to a return/refund. You need to call PP right away and explain this.

Update: I called PayPal and they said that if I have proof that I sent the dress back, I would not need an authenticity letter (by the way, bebefuzz from hervelegerobsessed.com has looked at the photos and confirmed it IS a FAKE!). I emailed PayPal photos of the slip I got at Australia Post with the unique International Registered number as proof of me sending it off. Also checked the number on Canada Post, it's been delivered, and the Seller has signed and picked up the item!

Basically now waiting for PayPal to do something about my case, and/or send me a confirmation email saying I don't need the Authenticity Letter. If they don't by today, I'll ring them up again!

Oh well!! So it was shill bidding then..... But dishonesty didn't work for this seller, since people walk away and sold the shoes for very low.
And ebay doesn't care, they just want their fees!!

ITA...the BIN price was $750 which was a steal, alot of people stayed away because it was obvious what was going on, karma has a way of working sometimes.....

Thank goodness! yea, I thought this was an open and shut case when you first told me about it! It sounds like you will be getting your $$$ back YAY!!!!
It is stressful isn't it?!?

Yea.. I took a look at the eBay link, and the seller had put someone else's photo of an authentic dress. It wasn't her own photo! It's a photo that's commonly available to anyone with Google.

I've been in the same shoes. Some girl put pictures of a girl wearing an authentic dress, and sent the fake version. That's why I make it mandatory that all sellers put in a note next to the dress they are selling.

Let me know if things take a turn for the worse; I'm more than willing to help out in these crazy situations!

This morning, I put in a bid on an item. I watched it lke a hawk, but wouldn't you know it...someone swooped in and outbid me with one minute left. I really didn't feel like getting into a bidding war, so I let it go. Ten minutes ago, I got an email from the seller asking why I didn't try to outbid the other buyer. I responded that the other person's bid went over what I was going to pay. A response to my response came back almost immediately! Apparently, the bid didn't go as high as she wanted it, so she wanted to know if I was willing to offer her more money than the winning bidder. She wanted to hold an unofficial auction after the official auction! She then ended the email by indicating that she was going to re-list it anyway if she didn't hear from me. WTH? Really?

And this is why I don't shop on Ebay as much as I would like to.

Maybe it was a shill bid?

Has anyone had issues with the flight2xxx/sekaimon as far as non-payment goes? It's been four days, I opened a claim and contacted eBay, and since they are an affiliate of eBay I was pretty much told there was nothing they would do, and wouldn't refund me my fees because the buyer they we're purchasing for changed their mind. Seems like a crock of **** to me, I hate when rules only apply to some buyers.

Did you open an unpaid item case? After 4 days of the unpaid item case opening, if the winning bidder still does not pay, you should get your fees back automatically.

He DID change his mind AFTER I posted the dress, so I don't have the dress on hand (although I did post via International Registered Mail).

Also I filed a claim via PayPal. My biggest problem is that I'm currently overseas, so I need to ring back to eBay and PayPal Australia. In any case, Bebefuzz, owner of Hervelegerobsessed.com says she can provide me with a letter of authenticity if needed to prove it is a fake.

So I shouldn't have a problem, you guys think?

omg, did eBay/Paypal finally give your money back?!? Let me know. I just don't understand... you have tracking confirmation that the stupid fake dress is back with the seller AND he has your money!

I listed something on Thursday and soon after I listed, someone placed a bid at the start price of about £150. I posted LOTS of close up pictures of all angles/condition and always say in listings if you aren't happy with the condition a) ask for more pictures b) do not bid as I don't want people to be misled and unhappy etc and then today I get a message asking if there scratches/marks...why do people do this? It just annoys me because first of all, it was quite a lot of money to bid at in the first place so wouldn't you ask questions first before placing and comitting to such a high bid? I know I would. Secondly, why wait three days before asking the question? I can just smell buyers remorse. Not a huge problem but incredibly annoying
