hi, i do not know if i am posting this in the right place but i have a quick question, maybe one of you ladies can help me? i am selling something really small (a band sticker) on ebay, the listing ends in an hour, and i have a potential buyer contact me about. the thing is, the buyer is in sweden, i do offer international shipping but i have never done it before and would like to know how much it would cost to ship to her? i want to be protected so i would like delivery confirmation or signature confirmation. i went to the usps site and all i can seem to figure out from them is that it would cost $30 to ship EMI...i think that is a lot just to ship a sticker. so any help would be appreciated.

I am so puzzled.
I sold something on ebay on Sunday. Buyer paid Sunday night. I shipped it on Monday morning and she got it the next day (today) . So it took only one day for her to receive her package. I think she left me a low rating for shipping time because my stars for shipping time went down from 5 to 4.8???
Is there a way I can see what rating she gave me for the shipping time?
Because I really want to call ebay and ask them if a customer receives an item in just one day after payment, but decide to give low rating for shipping time anyways (cause there's just no pleasing them), can they do that??
How is that logical or fair?

What did she write for your fb? You could message her and ask if everything went okay and whether she left you 4 stars. Some people think 4 stars is adequate and don't realize it actually damages the ratings. Though I don't know if they can change it after the fact anyway...

She wrote; " Great bag, Thanks!". I checked her FB left for others and this is what she writes for every thing she receives when she's happy, regardless. So I can't read too much into that...
I thought we are not allowed to contact other members and question them about the fb they left us??
I don't know. I don't know which thread I read this, but I think some one knew how to check our detailed seller's rating report and kind of guess what the last buyer left us as star ratings. I dont' know how to do it. whenever I run a detailed sellers report, it comes back incomplete. Ooh well... whatever.
Thanks for your comments though :)

Did you sell last year or last quarter? You may have lost a rating because it was in an older time frame.
You are right.
It was not her. My rating was 4.9 this morning and just out of curiosity I called ebay to ask how is this possible when no one even left a fb and ebay said, those ratings change every day at midnight, and they fluctuate because the old ratings drop off of your records as we move forward. Ratings are based on a 12 months period. So the change in my rating probably happened due to that reason but it coincided with the same day as she left me the feedback and I saw the change. well I learn something everyday.. :p

Hey guys, new to the forum! Joined because I have had a little bit of an issue with eBay/PayPal:

Hi guys, I joined the forum because I have a similar problem, however I'm the buyer and the seller is now scamming ME!

I purchased a Herve Leger dress on eBay but when it came, it was obvious it was a copy, and not authentic (yes, now I know better to check BEFORE I buy:smile1:). It also had two large holes in it. However AFTER I've sent back the dress via registered post, the seller refuses to refund my money, telling PayPal that it sounds like I've worn this dress to an event and is looking for my money back, etc.

Basically PayPal wants some proof/authentication by the 23rd of May, otherwise I basically lose the money AND the dress.

I was told to post in here by some other really nice people in another thread!

Can anyone help me?

Ok, well, not that this helps now, but just for the future, if you have other reasons besides authenticity to file for a SNAD, you should always do that. In this case it would be the two large holes. Because PP will always make you provide proof for authenticity claims. I'm not sure where you could get an authentication letter for HL. Does PP make any recommendations? We have a list of professional authenticators for all the major bag designers, but not HL.

But basically you need to find someone who can authenticate HL dresses. Good luck!

Can you post a link of the eBay listing?

I believe this might explain some of the "issues." http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/buyer-claims-defect-676465.html

In fact, you might consider posting on that discussion.
