I know you all are going to laugh--but what is Hat Head?
Flat hair. Hair that has been flattened and crimped by a hat to the point where you can see the indents from where the hat was on the head.

I understand sellers pricing higher than retail (availability, etc), but it really irks me when sellers blatantly lie about the retail price. I know better, but I feel bad for the unsuspecting buyers. Oh well... As the adage goes, "Buyer Beware!"

Need to vent!!!!!
This woman approached me about doing a trade on Bonanza...I know I know a trade really?? Who does that?? This girl had no ebay feedback, maybe 5 on Bonanza. I on the other hand have over 200 positive feedback on ebay and a history of selling many authentic designer bags and have never had any issues. She said she will submit an offer for a dollar and the info about the trade in the notes section. I went ahead with it knowing if I end up getting something fake no one can do anything about it. SO on Friday I went to the post office and mailed her the bag (I know I cant believe it). Friday night I went on the website and she was no longer a registered user.. Im guessing anyone would freak out like I did. I just mailed her a never used Botkier Trigger bag and now suddenly all msgs were gone, no record of anything. After a night without sleep I went to the post office in the morning and filed a form to intercept my package. Today, I get her bag in the mail, and I let the post office in her area release the bag to her. She emails me saying this bag is scratched and smells like smoke and this and that...(No one smokes here and no one has ever complained of anything I sold smelling and being pregnant no one is more sensitive to smells then me right now!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Arghhh...sorry this was long, but I really dont know what do? I dont know why shes doing this. Not sure if she just didnt like the bag, or the fact that I tried to intercept it bc I thought she was scamming me. I am just not having a good feeling about this!!![]()
Given that the buyer could just look up the price online, it seems strange that a seller would lie about this. Strange and dumb.
Yea, that bugs me too. You know what is worse than that though? Sellers of counterfeit bags that state they paid $600.00, $1200.00, etc on the bag! In reality it probably was about forty bucks at a purse party or a flea market.![]()
I'm sooooooo annoyed at USPS. I went to mail an international package today and it was my first time mailing international. I paid for and printed the labels online. I get to the post office and asked them to help me figure out what to do with all the forms since it is my first time and I get a rude "well we can't help you" in response. So, I asked for the customs envelope to put the forms in and then stepped away to put the package together. I, unfortunately, got the same employee when I went to drop the package off. I asked her if the package was ok for mailing, and got an "I guess." Then I asked her to scan the SCAN form to show that the package was accepted and she absolutely refused to do so and said the package will be scanned later. :censor:![]()
I also hate that eBay takes forever to take down a fake bag listing, if ever. There was a fake Chanel bag listed recently which was deemed fake in the Chanel authentication thread, and it's still up even after I reported it several times. Bidding ended at almost $1500.
Sometimes I want to save fake item listings in my watch list, wait until the seller gets a positive feedback from the unsuspecting buyer, then message the buyer letting them know they just bought a fake bag. Is it worth it the time and trouble to do a good deed like that?
I love his shoes too. Im never sure if they are knock off though. How do you tell?I am finding myself so obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Is it just me? His shoes are all so beautiful and different; they just have a style all there own. What is cool about him too is you can find them in all price ranges (i know because I troll the internet looking for his shoes) You can see most of his collection on either shopstyle or kaboodle and then go looking for what you like at Nordstrom’s or other fabulous stores. What I've noticed lately is that you can even find some of his shoes on ebay at much cheaper prices and this is my new obsession. I got the pink "Mary Rocks" fur bootie on ebay the other day for only 100, and I've seen those at Nordstrom’s for over 200 and they are absolutely not knock offs. I’m watching a few others on there now. Am I the only shoe hound obsessing with JC right now? Has anyone else gotten his shoes from ebay? I'm loving these clogs right now, should I buy them?
