I have one in monogram. I mean. Ok a lot of people have it, to me it just confirms that it's a very functional, simple to use for everyday, travel, shopping, work, dinner what have you!
It's that one LV piece everyone who can should have!:)

It is the most common bag, not only the most common LV. From the first day the NF came out I disliked it. I just don't like floppy, unstructured, open top bags. They're not for me, but I have to admit that the Neverfull was and is a "home run" style for LV. It is very popular and always has been. If a person loves the bag and it suits their needs they could always get a mon mono or Ltd ed to make it more special or unique.

When I wrote that comment: I was recalling an instance when I saw 2 tourists that were wearing the exact same thing, head to toe. And I don’t mean wearing similar gray shirts or something, I mean the exact same clothes, bag, everything in the exact same way. To me, that’s coordinated, on purpose, and it didn’t appeal to me. It didn’t help that they were snooty. It’s just my opinion on the situation at hand: it’s juvenile to me and reminiscent of school where girls did that.
I’m not saying you need to coordinate with your friend about what you can/can’t wear, that’s ridiculous and exactly what I’m annoyed AT. And people keep saying mind your own business, why do you care, etc. Having an opinion does not mean I care. I don’t like fake bags that are “Prava”, it’s not like I care if you have one. Having an opinion does not mean I’m going to treat someone any differently. It’s not like I’m going “oh they’re juvenile. Don’t speak to them or hold the door open.”
It’s ridiculous to me the amount of people stating they don’t make passing judgments and are not judgmental. You are literally doing that every day when making choices. That’s human nature. My gosh, it’s like you can’t have opinions on the internet. :cray: Sorry, I went on a bit of a rant there SpeedyJC, it wasn’t directed to you or anything. You don’t have to apologize, I’m sure you’re a wonderful person with wonderful friends and all of you have great taste. :D

Again I was commenting based solely on your one statement that you made regarding wearing the same exact bag and as someone who sometimes wears the same exact bag as her best friend I reacted that's all.

I respect your right to an opinion and there are no hard feelings really :smile1:

I own one and I love it. It's a great travel bag. When I bought it I knew how popular it was but I like it, to personalize it I just had the hot stamp it when I bought it. When I'm out the majority of LV bags I see are the speedy and Neverfull and I think it's because these are the most affordable and popular LV bags to own. I even bought my sister a Neverfull. I wouldn't let the fact that everyone carrying it deter me from buying if I really liked the bag.

On the other hand, I don't care for the speedy. I have one that's an Epi Speedy but it's very structured and doesn't sag. I don't care for the droopy look I quite often see. I like structured hand carried bags a little more so I prefer the Alma. I think people should focus on buying what they like based on their own style and what fits their lifestyle. Just my opinion. Here is my lovely Neverfull.[emoji6]View attachment 3058284
Your Louboutins and NF look really pretty together- Lovely pic :)!

I see a lot of them in Silicon Valley (where I live), but I didn't see AS many when I was in NYC last month (for some odd reason). I don't really see much LV at all in my hometown which is a mostly purely middle class area.

I used to have a NF GM, but I sold it because it was just too big of a bag for me personally.

I saw tons and tons of Longchamp bags in NYC, which I have two of. I was just happy to see the stylish ladies of NYC carrying the LC bags. :)

I don't have one and LV is not super common where I live ( in MN). As others have suggested, if it really bothers you, maybe personalize it with a charm or scarf. And remember, there are always people out there like me that get enjoyment out of seeing others carrying LV...makes me smile regardless if the bag is common or not!

I don't know what is inappropriate about a 14 year old with an insolite. Her parents are the ones in a position to determine what is inappropriate for their daughter, lifestyle and financial abilities. What is inappropriate is your judgment of this young lady. Why is it inappropriate? Is it scandalous in some way? I don't get it.

My daughter is nine and has an LV wallet, a cles and a favorite. She also has Ferragamo shoes and other designer items she wears on a regular basis. These items don't cause me any financial hardship. My daughter is a great student and a delightful human being and I feel like she should have quality things. It is sad that adults would look at a child's belongings with envy. Tremendous case of sour grapes. How pathetic.

To the OP, if you love the NF, go for it! I have one and it is handy for the pool and beach and my daughter's sporting events. It is so ubiquitous because of its functionality. I don't see it as a purse, I regard it as a lightweight and handy tote and I have no issue with seeing them on others. I envy no one and I mind my own business and I buy what suits my taste and lifestyle.

I was wondering how an insolate wallet can be inappropriate. It's just a wallet. And it's colorful, being MC, so I would think a 14 year old would love it..

A few nights ago I was at a golf outing at my local CC... After golfing, we all went to have dinner. Literally four women used their Damier Azur Neverfulls to "reserve" their seats. Four women! All sitting next to each other had a Neverfull in the same print, and one woman even brought two Neverfulls with her, one Damier Azur and one Mono... This was kind of nauseating for me and actually made me kind of dislike my Neverfull. I don't know why...; maybe it's because these women aren't the nicest people in the world. They are very clique-ish and only discuss things with one another and pretty much ignored the people that weren't in their "LV club" the entire night.

Did you wear one of your Birkins?

Granted some bags are more ubiquitous than others but it really is just because it works for people. A greatly designed item will be most used and love.

I hate seeing people with the same bags sometimes but then I think, hey, they bought it because it's functional and that's the important part. Why buy something at these price points if you can't love it?

I love that my Chanels aren't as ubiquitous but I don't get to love them like I do with my damier ebene pieces and that just makes having a more common piece okay with me.

However, snotty carriers, this love doesn't apply to them. They can take their snot and all go away lol

Seems like everyone has a neverfull! Most people get the neverfull and/or speedy as their first LV. I bought my first one in the ikat collection and somehow ended up with all the ikat edition Neverfulls lol. I think the Damier Ebene is great to have for the rain, snow and travel. Doesn't matter if it get wet and doesn't show dirt. Other than than I personally like the limited editions and mon monograms. Those are a little less popular:)
