Does everyone have a neverfull?

Nope. I've not got one. I may be one of the few who does not care for it. The straps are not comfortable for me and its just a plain old tote bag. More for everyone else I guess? :P

I have a Neverfull that is the new model and about a year and a half old. Compared to other Neverfulls I've seen in person, I think I keep mine in great shape and even the SA at LA comment on how beautifully mine has aged. I think this can be an elegant bag, but if you throw it around and don't take care of it, certainly it will lose its luster. I have seen downright dirty Neverfulls all over and I think that's just the way people want to treat this bag.

I think another thing to note is as someone mentioned working in NYC and it being too common there, I completely agree. I believe demographics can make a big difference. My best friend lives in Long Island, so we often go into the city, and certainly this is quite a popular bag for many commuters. It's absolutely perfect and versatile for these kinds of customers, but I did not purchase my bag for those purposes. But that's why this bag can mean so many different things to different people!

I understand some use this as a gym bag/diaper bag/grocery tote. I personally would never even put a water bottle in my bag (learned my lesson doing that once; the cap was not tight enough, and flooded my bag!) but this is just my preference.

Where I live, maybe 5 people have this bag...or that many designer bags for that matter! But when I go into Pittsburgh it's definitely more often, but nothing compared to Manhattan!

My next purchase will definitely be a more dressier bag, because even though this was my second LV in 10 years, I was so excited about her and tried finding ways to use it for any outfit. This IS possible because the new model has a removable pouch that turns into a lovely wristlet/clutch for formal occasions, but that now that I've had my NM Speedy for 6 months, I will be getting a Vernis Alma next!

I have been thinking of getting a neverfull mm mono, i was told that it is too common but i will not let that be the deciding factor. It's the amount of use and enjoyment that i will get out of it. Specially in the bay area that almost every store wants to charge for a shopping bag, it comes handy and stylish way to shop.

Why would the popularity of something prevent you from buying one or enjoying the one you have? Doesn't everyone have an iPhone these days? Oversized gold Michael Kors watch? Tiffany's tag bracelets? Just because lots of people have something doesn't suddenly negate the functionality or appeal of that item, and the same is true for the Neverfull. If anything, when I see someone out with the same bag, it makes me happy, that we're in a little "club" together even if the other person isn't aware of it. I don't feel lesser than, or that what I have is now not special because someone else has it. If I wanted a bag that no one else would ever carry, I wouldn't shop at a branded, international mass producer of monogrammed bags. :shrugs:

I'm totally one of those people who throw this bag around that's why I bought it as a great work type bag. I do have my limits thought I would never put it on the floor or put loose pens in it. In Manhattan I see a lot of people on the streets with the Neverfull but honestly for me personally I see far more Chanel, I mean people I know or places I venture out to.

I got 4 NFs -- it's feminine (thin strap) & carefree (simple & open design). Best of all, it holds its resale value well.

My LVs: { DA -- Pochette Milla, Speedy 30, NF PM w/ Pouch } ~~~ { DE -- Key Pouch, Mini Pochette, Navona, Trousse Pochette, Favorite PM, Speedy 30, NF PM & MM } ~~~ { MONO -- Key Pouch, Papillon Pouch, Pochette Accessoires, Agenda PM & GM, Eva Clutch, Petit Bucket w/ Pouch, Cabas Piano, Speedy 25, NF MM, CarryAll } ~~~ { EPI - Alma BB Quetsche }

I see quite a decent number of Neverfull where I live, especially when I'm wearing one myself, but for some reason they're all DE. I think I've only seen one person wearing mono. But the model I see the most is Speedy without B, almost every time I go out I meet a few young girls wearing that, and most of them are DE, some but less mono, never seen any DA. My Neverfull is DA but I've never seen people carrying this print considering how much I meet
