Does everyone have a neverfull?

I somewhat felt the same way. The NF seems to be everywhere and I never thought I wanted one. Then they kinda started to grow on me when I'd see people wearing them. Then the Rose Ballerine interior came out and I knew I had to at least check it out. As soon as I put it on, it was love! So practical, so roomy, so light! I haven't used it yet (just got it last night), but I plan to use it cinched a little, since I rarely see people in my area doing that. Like another poster said - I, too, would have missed out on a great bag if I had let the popularity of it stop me from giving it a chance. :)

I think the NF is popular because it's a great functional bag. That being said, I opted for an XL Ferragamo Bice in black for work and will probably get a Goyard St. Louis for travel pretty soon

I don’t have a NF. While I do like the design of it, the lack of a top zipper is a deal breaker for me so doubt I will ever get one.

I don't really care what other people are carrying though. If I like something, I will buy it, regardless if everyone in the world or nobody except me is using it. I don't see the point in not buying something you like just because other people have it, the same way I don't see the point in buying something you aren't really into just because it's trendy or an it bag.

That's how you end up with a lot of bags you aren't really in love with.

why would the popularity of something prevent you from buying one or enjoying the one you have? Doesn't everyone have an iphone these days? Oversized gold michael kors watch? Tiffany's tag bracelets? Just because lots of people have something doesn't suddenly negate the functionality or appeal of that item, and the same is true for the neverfull. If anything, when i see someone out with the same bag, it makes me happy, that we're in a little "club" together even if the other person isn't aware of it. I don't feel lesser than, or that what i have is now not special because someone else has it. If i wanted a bag that no one else would ever carry, i wouldn't shop at a branded, international mass producer of monogrammed bags. :shrugs:

Totally agree! I mean I know it sounds cliche to say it here again, but you buy what you love, who cares if everyone on the street is carrying one? If you love it and enjoy it, just hold your head up high and keep on rocking!

To answer your question though, I don't own a Neverfull, as a guy, but I do own a full sized Noe - perfect bag to use for the beach and also carry champagne for picnics and gatherings and well also beer and wine and other goodies for parties! :D

I still [emoji173]️ my NF after 8 years and in certain areas I do see multiples of it.
However, none have the exact same gold stamped initials and bag charm like mine.
Having said that it doesn't bother me if there are others that look like mine.
It has sentimental value to me, DH likes me to wear it and I love carrying it. That's all that matters.

Lol! I saw a 14 year old girl with a Monogram Multicolore Insolite wallet at an academic event and that alone was inappropriate to bring to a quiz bowl tournament and then I saw her at another academic event with a pink V Neverfull! It's crazy how much some parents purchase for their children!

I don't know what is inappropriate about a 14 year old with an insolite. Her parents are the ones in a position to determine what is inappropriate for their daughter, lifestyle and financial abilities. What is inappropriate is your judgment of this young lady. Why is it inappropriate? Is it scandalous in some way? I don't get it.

My daughter is nine and has an LV wallet, a cles and a favorite. She also has Ferragamo shoes and other designer items she wears on a regular basis. These items don't cause me any financial hardship. My daughter is a great student and a delightful human being and I feel like she should have quality things. It is sad that adults would look at a child's belongings with envy. Tremendous case of sour grapes. How pathetic.

To the OP, if you love the NF, go for it! I have one and it is handy for the pool and beach and my daughter's sporting events. It is so ubiquitous because of its functionality. I don't see it as a purse, I regard it as a lightweight and handy tote and I have no issue with seeing them on others. I envy no one and I mind my own business and I buy what suits my taste and lifestyle.

No, never :-p I need a zip top, that´s a deal-breaker for me.

I *almost* cracked for an Ikat NF though, it was lovely - until I read here about its epidemic melting, cracking and gluing-together issues. So, no NF appeal for me!

I have a mono MM, and I absolutely love it!

Since getting it I've definitely noticed more of them around, but about 90% of the mono ones I've seen have been fakes (I work in a bar and women just keep coming in with them),I tend to see more real ones in the DE print.

I was hesitant to buy mine because I felt the mono was a bit flashy and like I was trying to show off my money (when I in fact saved up for mine myself) and like other people would judge me because I'm only 19 and carrying an expensive bag. I carry it no matter what I'm wearing and it means so much to me (I bought it just after a tough personal time) and would hate it if people thought I just had it because it was common and I wanted to show I had a LV, or that I was some stuck up ***** because of my bag.

I don't have Neverfull. I would love to have it because I see/hear such good things about it but unfortunatly I need longer strap drop.

I have to admit that's the one thing that does bother me about my NF!! I have slim arms and the strap drop still seems snug ! Not sure what LV was thinking on that one ..... :(
