Does everyone have a neverfull?

I agree with what a previous poster said: you always see this bag in the same design, that's what gets so redundant. MK watches are very popular, but there's so many different styles that you still feel as if yours is somewhat different. I pretty much see the monogram MM only, which makes it feel so tired. In my area, I personally have never seen the Epi NF.

You know what really drives me up the wall? When I see friends with the exact same bag. I don't know why adults insist on dressing like twins, it seems so juvenile.

What makes you think it was planned? I have one friend who is also a bag addict. We happen to have a couple of the same bags. We don't check with each other before getting together to make sure we're NOT carrying the same bag.

I used to love my neverfull. It's so easy to carry and holds everything I need, but when I bought it I wanted to be different. Last night I went to the movies and three people in line had exact same bag and saw another as I was leaving.
Am I right to be falling out of lvoe with my neverfull since it has become so common?
A few nights ago I was at a golf outing at my local CC... After golfing, we all went to have dinner. Literally four women used their Damier Azur Neverfulls to "reserve" their seats. Four women! All sitting next to each other had a Neverfull in the same print, and one woman even brought two Neverfulls with her, one Damier Azur and one Mono... This was kind of nauseating for me and actually made me kind of dislike my Neverfull. I don't know why...; maybe it's because these women aren't the nicest people in the world. They are very clique-ish and only discuss things with one another and pretty much ignored the people that weren't in their "LV club" the entire night.

+1, see my post above ^

You would hate to see me my bf and her mom out for our girls day lunch because all three of us have one. It's a great bag. Also no it's not planned sometimes it just happens and who cares if it does? I'm not going to text my friend not to use her neverfull because I plan on using mines, now that would be juvenile .

When I saw Maddie and Kendall carrying one on Dance Mom's . I knew it was not for me .
Lol! I saw a 14 year old girl with a Monogram Multicolore Insolite wallet at an academic event and that alone was inappropriate to bring to a quiz bowl tournament and then I saw her at another academic event with a pink V Neverfull! It's crazy how much some parents purchase for their children!

And to answer the original question, I carried a Neverfull for the first time last weekend, and I absolutely loved it. I don't like open top bags either, but the Pursebling zippered organizer solved that issue.

It's not the fact that they matched, it's the fact that they also have the same BMW 7 series (Same outside color at least) the same sunglasses and even coordinated their golf outfits. It's actually kind of funny.

Also, they're not the nicest people in the world and are not easy to get along with. But you seem like a very nice person! :smile1: I don't mind it when friends have the same bag, but when someone acts like they're better than someone else because they have a NF (which is what I was saying about their little "LV" club, where they pretty much didn't talk to anyone who didn't own one) it makes me dislike the bag.

Why would the popularity of something prevent you from buying one or enjoying the one you have? Doesn't everyone have an iPhone these days? Oversized gold Michael Kors watch? Tiffany's tag bracelets? Just because lots of people have something doesn't suddenly negate the functionality or appeal of that item, and the same is true for the Neverfull. If anything, when I see someone out with the same bag, it makes me happy, that we're in a little "club" together even if the other person isn't aware of it. I don't feel lesser than, or that what I have is now not special because someone else has it. If I wanted a bag that no one else would ever carry, I wouldn't shop at a branded, international mass producer of monogrammed bags. :shrugs:
+1... Carry what you love and what works for you ... I see neverful and speedy everywhere , but that doesn't stop me from loving those bags

Hmm. That's an unfair, pretty shallow judgment call on perfect strangers. They could be lovely, kind people who bought their bags on a trip together or to commemorate something special in their friendship. Judging them from afar seems more juvenile to me than carrying a bag my friend happens to also have.

I agree with you 100 percent. I mean are friends suppose to make rules that they aren't allowed to use the same bag if they happen to own the same bag? Are they supposed to phone ahead to make sure they are not wearing the same color shirt? If both have their hair up is one suppose to take it down? I just don't get it.

i better tell my friend she can't bring her neverfull to work anymore or maybe we can do a split I use mines Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday is no neverfull day to keep it fair and she gets Thursday and Friday. I mean really!

Thanks and don't let sour grapes ruin such a functional classy bag, many kind people carry the NF :)

Also to the OP I understand wanting to have a unique piece but just because the NF is popular don't let that bother you. I will be honest I use to be like oh another neverfull but I got over it very quickly because after looking I see how each person styles themselves differently.

LOLOLOLOL. This is so funny [emoji23][emoji23]

Close friends (and sisters) often start to look alike not on purpose! You like the same fashion that's why you're best friends!!! I know my best friend and I do this all the time and laugh we don't even discuss outfits and we'll meet up and be wearing almost identical outfits by accident and be like "come onnnn that's creepy"!!! So don't be judgemental, friends are most likely not copying on purpose!!

LOL Boy am I lucky I don't have to deal with this c*ap because all my friends are gay men (yes, lucky me! The only flower amongst the thorns) and they don't carry NFs or Speedys Looool
