It could also be an honest mistake. I have two accounts, one that has my husband’s credit card as the default for smaller purchases, and one that has my own credit card as the default for more costly items. The app is set to the one with my husband’s credit card so that’s what I use for browsing and sometimes I accidentally make an offer using the wrong account. Then I have to switch to the desktop site where my own credit card is the default and make an offer with my real account. I know you can cancel an offer, but maybe the buyer didn’t know.
I think she knew how to cancel because she cancelled her counter offer before she made another offer. I think the second bidder might have been her mother's account. I wondered if maybe she made the second offer because she wasn't sure if I saw the first one. Some people make offers before I wake up in the morning, then they get nervous because I'm not responding. They don't realize I'm in a different time zone.

You are probably right! Or maybe her mom knew she wanted it and got it for her. I have actually realized I was bidding against my mom for an item once! Just a little running top I had been looking for, but still funny.

The audacity of some PM buyers. A PM buyer sent me 3 low ball offers for a high end item. I always decline low ball offers. I don't have time to go back and forth with counters. I looked at her profile and she's also a seller. She is selling higher end items too at higher prices. It's always these types of buyers that send the low ball offers. She then posted under the listing asking why I never accepted her offers? And then asked if I can give her a discount and what the loswest price I would accept. Block!! I'm not putting up with buyers like this. I just deleted the listing, relisted and blocked her. How do you guys handle buyers like this?

Just decline. Don't make too much of a drama here - you can always remove unwanted comments on your listings by reporting them as spam. Usually, low ballers are scammers; but there are some legit buyers that think it is a fair game to start low and negotiate upwards:) lol You never know what in other person's mind for that matter, so counter with the price acceptable to you and move on.

Just curious, how much is high end in your definition? I assume we are talking about clothing? Since high end jewelries and watches would be in millions each piece, high end bags would be in millions too, (FP recently sold a birkin 25 for $270,000 plus tax). In clothing, I recently sold a top for about $1,500, I consider it was low middle range in clothing.

It's all relative. My house here in NB. Is 15 Million. To many people that's not high end!!! I know many people are here sell on fleabay and PM. I;m sure many have made offers to my closet. I'm not making drama either. I have every right to block buyers. I have had some unethical ones.

I used PM, now I’m in the middle of a dispute with the seller. The she shipped was a far cry from what she said it was and what the pictures showed. I paid $1500 for a LV bag that seller said was super good condition, it arrived with wear holes on the corners of the bag, stress cracks at the top of the bag and black marks with the leather shredding on the handle tabs, plus the bag smelled soooo bad. I immediately let PM know and they told me to ship the bag back, now she says I’m the scammer! I called my cc company and they said to wait to see if PM refunds me, f not we will file a dispute. I read a lot of posts that PM usually sides with the buyer but this is really stressful since I could be out $1500

But Poshmark had already approved your return, correct?

Once you ship the item back to the seller and it shows that it was delivered by the tracking, Poshmark will refund you. Sometimes there is just a delay in them processing that the item was delivered back. Just send Poshmark Customer Service a message through the order history that the return has been delivered and to please refund you, and it will happen. The seller does not have to agree to anything.

The seller told PM I switched bags, she opened a case with them against me. Will they side with the seller? I shipped the bag back yesterday morning, I got the bag on Friday and she began harassing me calling me a scammer and a liar, I notified PM and they blocked her messages to me but I got a email from PM telling me to follow messages in my email thread but I don’t see any emails. I do thank you for your help Nicole, I appreciate it since this is really stressing me out.

I forgot to add since I wanted this LV bag so badly after I shipped hers back I purchased another ( Different seller of course ) on Posh and ended up paying 1600, why would I purchase the same style bag if I scammed her and sent a garbage bag back to her, what would I do with 2 f the same bags?

Girl, you are too rich to go through that trouble and stress selling on your own.
