Does anyone use Poshmark?

I have an update, I got paid after 10 days since original delivery attempt. PM contacted the buyer several times. After they send reminders to pick up and the buyer still hasn't received the package they'll release the funds on 11th day. PM's policy is quite strict for scammers who demand an address change or who have buyer's remorse (like if they don't receive the package they'll get a refund). Nope, Poshmark will re-ship it to them as many times as they need.
Once this was sorted out, the buyer immediately received her package. She gave me neg review for refusing to change delivery that I couldn't change and I patiently explained why. I don't care about this, I have 5-star ratings steadily.

Advise please. I just sold a $400 brand new designer dress with tags. All of my items are brand new, authentic with tags. I show the inside authentic tags, manufacturer tags, thousands of pics of items inside and out. This new buyer (just joined PM today) I always get nervous with any brand new buyer.(you can't check their history, what kind of feedback they leave) She then messaged me saying she couldn't decide between this dress she just bought and another gorgous dress that I'm also selling. She had the audacity to ask if I can ship the other dress which is rare and no one can find anymore (worth $600) with the first dress she bought. I messaged her back and said I do not accept returns and I cannot ship another dress that she hasn't even paid for!!! She promised she would ship one of them back. Who does she think she is? Should I just cancel the order???

I would tell her this is not the way it works on PM and she should follow TOU, all sales are final. I'd offer her to cancel the first order and let her decide which dress she really wants and let her do research. Overall, red flags are here "I'll promise I'll ship the second dress back" what a nerve! If you cancel and she doesn't come back consider you dodged a bullet.

Thank you so for your advice. Yes, I feel there are red flags over this sale. I'm afraid she will try to damage it if it doesn't fit. I think I might just cancel the sale.

I just cancelled the sale. I really wanted to sell this beautiful dress, but I don't have time to deal with a problematic buyer. I also don't want my dresses damaged. I really don't like buyers that join the same day they buy my items.

That's a right thing to do for a piece of mind. I'm sure problematic and demanding buyers don't hit just one closet, they try to pull it with many sellers.

Yes, I'm sure your right about demanding buyers hitting more than just one closet. I really want to sell the dresses, but I don't have time to be stressing out about a buyer.
I mentioned one thing, these demanding time-wasters (I don't call them buyers) tend to trigger FOMO (fear of missing out) your income from the sale. They go like unless you do this I don't buy, unless you change that I won't accept the package etc. And we all want sales, there's that drilling thought "I should have done it" and how much I would have made if I did. Zero, we would have made zero from problematic customers, they will just cause troubles. Decline those lowball offers, refuse to do anything against TOU and block them. Buyers don't behave like this. They actually buy/submit reasonable offers and don't start FOMO triggering conversations.

Yes, I wish I had listened to that inner voice that told me to cancel.

Yes, they are demanding time-wasters!!! I never heard back from that demanding time-waster either!! I blocked her, but she still could have responded to my notes under the order.

I had a strange situation (I haven’t done much on PM). The potential buyer asked me to email additional photos - which I did. She then had a convoluted request about paying with a cashiers check and adding additional money for my trouble. I just responded I’d sell via the site…she gave up, but it was so scammy. The stories above make me wonder if I should just donate everything I listed.

asking additional info via email is a classic scam on PM. don't even respond and report both comments and users.

I forgot to mention that one poti

Yes, I get this same scammer messaging me anytime I list new items. I just ignore them. That's against PM guidelines to email outside of PM anyway.

Does anyone watch the purse mystery box shows? My Friday night has been a little slow, so I just watched an unboxing where they all went between $1,500 - $2,000 - and imo, most of them contained junk. I was kinda horrified, but couldn’t take my eyes off the train wreck (the buyers in the chat though seemed happy to happy-ish with them, so I guess that’s what matters? The host though is making an absolute killing off of their naïveté).
