Does anyone NOT baby their Vachetta? Show pics!

I have a few and all have seen rain - sometimes downpours (except my Noe which I have babied more)
Here are pics of my 2008 Eva, 2007 Petit bucket, 2014 Turenne, and 1997 Noe. The Eva & Turenne have seen the most rain for sure. All untreated... there may be a spot here and there but eventually it just blends in... I like the patina & I like to use my bags worry free.

I like to use my bags care free too, at least my LV canvas ones I’m a bit more careful about the full leather bags.

I’m not as relaxed as everyone on this thread. I like patina but want it to be clean, shiny, and even. I tan first and the apply Cadillac conditioner. Not a big fan of waterproofing sprays because they usually leave a grippy, sort of tacky feel on leather. Plus i find sprays hard to apply evenly on bags without getting it all over the hardware and canvas. Cadillac is so easy to apply and doesn’t change the feel or look of the vachetta. Then I use the bag normally! But I will wipe it down with a damp cloth every once in a while and also reapply Cadillac if it looks dry.
Thanks! I guess I do baby my bags in that i have a routine to care for them, but it is super easy to do.
LV Reade- 12years old. Bought pre loved 4-5 years ago from Tokyo. Amazingly, Vachetta was still in 'virgin' state. Most probably the previous owner hardly used the bag. I just wiped the handles with H20 and polish the vernis with Vaseline. I like the current golden patina as it enhanced the whole look of my little bag.
All the bags shown here look beautiful. I wish I could be more relaxed with vachetta, but I am one of these people who only use bags with vachetta when there is a less than 10% chance of rain

This Neverfull is 6yrs old. I have never applied any leather conditioner. I use it rain or shine. The reason I love LV is because it is very durable. I also have a Speedy B in DE. I use both whenever I travel. Honestly, I always choose to use the LV bags if there’s any chance of rain because I know the LV bags can take it unlike my other bags.
Beautiful!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. That’s how I feel about my DE Neverfull, but I officially made my purchase of my Mono Neverfull yesterday! I am SO EXCITED! This thread eased all of my concerns and I absolutely can’t wait to use her!
