Do it and enjoy it! Any water spots will blend in the more you wear it...that’s the bonus of vachetta.
Okay, I am going to have to ask a question. For those of you with older neverfulls that are in such beautiful condition, do you live in a very humid or very dry area? My neverfull is 6 years old and the vachetta is dark (not black, gosh no, but very dark honey gold). I was told it's because I live in a super humid climate. Is this actually the case? Or am I just doing something extremely wrong? I generally avoid vachetta for this very reason.

Me too! I have seen the vachetta being overly dark on some pieces and it makes it look so overly worn, as opposed to it having a beautiful patina. Does anyone have a mini PA that's old but the leather tab still looks good?hey. I just found this thread

I've used this full time for 3 years (recently put into storage as I was concerned about the screen print chipping- it hasn't). Hope this helps~
This pochette is from 2011. I bought it used a few years ago and have used it daily. Usually in my bag but don’t take any special precautions. It is such a small bit of leather, if it gets too dark you could easily have LV replace it. Use it and enjoy, not worth it to worry about the vachetta tab on a mini pochette IMO!❤️
I love the worn and used look of vachetta, I've used my speedy nano a few times in unpredictable uk weather, and even caught in light rain a couple of times and it's been fine!
Now I need to brave it out and use my speedy b 25 mono more freely!

Last several times I was going to use my new bags, took them out then put back, because too new stalk white! kinda of weird to wear them out, was planing tan them a bit before wearing out haven't got time to do that
I even has some brand new DE bags haven't worn,we are no longer in lock down but I only goes to few places, kinda of want to save these beautiful new bags for later when meeting friends parties etc

2016 Speedy b Azur, applied Applegard when new but not since. No babying & used a lot. Even to the beach, boating, in the rain, on planes. It's lived.

Lol I understand how you feel, but we spend so much money on these bags, we should use them often and whenever we like, as 'later' never comes! I think once we get our first mark on the vachetta, we can get over it and just use and enjoy them!
Enjoy them, especially since the DE bags are any-weather friendly!
