Does anyone feel like VCA is everywhere now?

I live in Vancouver and I feel like I see alhambra frequently…although people dress casually here. I can never tell if it’s authentic unless their piece is right in front of me.

I was in Seoul last week and it felt common there too, in certain neighbourhoods more than others (like most larger cities). I can’t tell if it has been this way for years or if I’m only noticing it now because of prolific SM posting.

I hardly ever see people wearing VCA where I am (Silicon Valley). Maybe I don't travel in the right circles. We only just recently got a boutique though so that could have something to do with it.

I remember when I first started to shop for VCA (2015-2016) and I saw a customer at VCA wearing a stack of YG hammered and YGMOP and they looked worn and slightly beat up. I loved the look, but I was clear that she had had these bracelets for a number of years. As much as some recent lovers may say VCA is too common, back in the day people not familiar with VCA could say “what is this weird brand with these flower motifs?” It’s just social media that has increased the proliferation of the brand. The people that have loved it in a vacuum will still love it when people call it basic. And the people that are fair weather friends will jump off the train when they get bored and numb. We will see how long that will take. As long as VCA stays true to itself, I will still be faithful.

Another weekend, another benefit. A fair amount of VCA. Cartier is beyond everywhere, as usual. Fair amount of Chanel RTW but the fewest Chanel bags I’ve seen in a while. I was surprised to see lots of Dior bags and only one v small Kelly (I tore up the house looking for the multiplis I was planning to carry but must be in the city). Didn’t notice any Bulgari. Saw the following VCA. ~400 people to give an idea of how widespread. Some people were wearing multiple pieces, so I saw fewer people than pieces on the list. Probably missed a few:

Signature 3 row pave (yg?)
Pave gmop 5 motif
Mop 5 motif wg
Perles d’or yg
RG sweet alhambra watch

Thats quite the variety. I have to say- its the Cosmos Id be most envious to see. I can say it is the one collection I have never seen out anywhere while in my area. Likely because its an older collection. Its beautiful though...

I saw a bunch of people in this uniform, but no charms and bigger bags at the last city event I went to before coming out to the beach for the summer. Everyone was also wearing the same white jeans and Etro-y print shirts.

This was an older crowd. I use big bags so I don’t know the size, but just one Kelly, craie, so small the phone was coming out of it, no twilly. I just can’t with the Cartier. Or I can, because I have the same pieces as everyone else. I wear my vca just to do whatever and this was a garden party, not formal, but I was surprised to see so many love, juc, ecrou. It’s so constant and widespread it doesn’t feel like a special occasion piece at all.

Even if it is everywhere. I buy what I like not depending on who purchases what
