I have never seen one I liked...never seen one that didn't make me gag. In pictures or otherwise.
I really don't get the attraction...at all...I hate the monograms, cherries, graffiti, multicoloured monograms, denim bags...etc etc etc etc...plus,with sooooo many fakes around I usually assume that any LV bag I see is a fake.
I know...I'm prejudiced and I discriminate against LV bags....I thought I should come clear on this front before continuing as a member here .
LOL, hey who knows? I might find one staring straight back at me and fall in love with it like the mono Speedy did!sweetface said:OMG not the denim!
ruusu said:I don't like LV bags. I think too many people by them just because of the whole logo and status symbol think. I personally don't like the Louis Vuitton look at all. The bags are all about the logo. Allthough they had some nice bags without the logo a while back. Was it last year?

My Damier cosmetic bag is peeling on the inside...everything in the bag has red flakes on it.
And my loden green mini-monogram Josephine is just a nightmare that can't be cleaned. Even the staff at the NYC flagship said to clean it at my own risk.
So since then, I refused to give anymore money to LV. Their monogram bags are over-priced too...I refuse to pay over $1000 for plastic coated canvas bags with leather trimmings.
Ammietwist said:That just seems strange to me because LV is known for their quality. I've found that there are few companies whose products you can buy blind (mail/phone order, don't need to see it first), and LV is at the top of my list along with Lalique and Halcyon Days. They're just THAT consistently good. My Mono wallet is nearly 16 years old, and it looks new. Another poster on here has used hers for 18, and it looks new as well.
When I sold the line at a department store, I took in a ton of pieces for repair, and some were 20 years or older. The women were also frantic as to when they'd get them back.
I've recently bought a papillion damier ....hmmm so you're saying that the quality is poor and that it'll peel off?esiders said:I don't like LV because the quality isn't that great.

thank you, I was getting worried:worried: . Do you use it often?jehaga said:No way! It's solid! I like damier even better than monogram because the handles are nice and smooth and will never "age".
lvobsessed said:Keep in mind the mono does the same. I'm not usre about the new ones but the older ones do the same... Something to keep in mind... its the lining not the bag itself.
