I work in retail cosmetics so I’m always on the lookout at bags.
I see MK, (I’ll be watching from now on for those swinging charms!) Coach, Fossil, and sometimes fake LV on those working ladies of the night.

Yes, when we go to the higher end malls or into the city I definitely keep an eye out for special bags. It makes the outing more fun!
ETA I have been known to Google certain bags to figure out what they are, great way to pass the time :)

Yes I do. I love people watching!

Where I live: LV, Bottega Veneta, and Goyard are probably the most common everyday bags

Where I work: The people in my office aren't really into designer bags but if they are, Tory Burch. I see women from other companies with LV or MK

If I go outside of the area I live in and usually hang out in, MK and Kate Spade are probably the most common. We don't have any outlets around here but we do have TJMaxx, which in my area tends to carry KS and MK

I notice bags when I'm out shopping. If I'm at the mall with the high end stores I'll see more expensive bags being carried - Celine, Bal, LV of course. In general around town at Costco, etc., I see a lot of MK (and LV or fake LV)

I was on vacation in Europe the last two weeks (Paris and then all over Belgium). I had fun indulging in one of my favorite hobbies, bag watching. The handbag eye candy was awesome! What I did notice, was that the women carrying the bags were not in heels, full makeup and dressed up, but were more casual, classic and subtle. They were not sloppy at all though, but pulled together. I always feel dressed down for the bags I carry here (U.S.), but there, I fit right in.

In the town where I work, people wear ratty bags. Designer bag is a rarity, but maybe because it's beach town. The Japanese seems to be the only ones that wear brands the most and mostly, it'll be Chanel or discreet LV. The wealthy local can be seen with anything from no brand to Gucci, LV, Chanel, and Hermes. I find the Europeans are the most humble ones that seem to don't care and carry clothes bag or just generic brand bags. No brand at most. And the Russian teenagers seem to carry a lot of knock off.

Me too!!! When it comes to people watching, sometimes I start thinking of stories that may explain them. With handbags, I get a kick out of figuring out fakes (like yesterday Costco...saw a Neverfull DE with straps so flat with twice the width of a real one). The bad thing is sometimes I even check out handbags while I'm in church. I can't help it! It just happens...LOL!!!

Now when I'm at the gym, my husband cracks up at my facial reaction when I see high end handbags get placed on the floor next to the machines or when I see women drenched in sweat and just throwing their LV with vachetta over their shoulder. He says one day I might fall off the stairmaster from eyeballing these peeps. LOL!!!
