Does anyone else bag watch?

I'm known among friends and co-workers as "the purse lady." I adore purse watching--especially in airports or internationally, as I get to see styles I'm not used to. Ultimately, I enjoy looking at purses and seeing how many women accessorize them or coordinate them with their outfits. I don't care if they are considered lux brands or an outlet special, personally. There are some beautiful pieces out there. My only dislike are the knock offs. There's a leather worker near here that creates his own pieces and they are individual works of art. They don't cost near what a Birkin does, but they are truly one of a kind. I say, women should rock their bags, regardless of what other women are or aren't carrying.

I love bag watching while in NYC, you see everything from Chanel to seemingly no name/no logo bags on the subway to the ferry and everywhere in between.

Less words - more photos :)
Local grocery, Wednesday afternoon.

I wasn’t joking when I wrote that it’s hard not to see a designer bag here :)

I like these photos. So many people assume that woman who carry high end bags are living off their husbands, boyfriends, etc and don't do any work themselves...the maids, gardener, etc do all the housework while we only shop. I think many people would be surprised to see so many high end bags in a grocery store as grocery shopping is too 'lowly' of an activity for us people who can spend money on high end items. I buy my own bags, I cook my own food, shop for my own groceries, clean my own place, etc. I work dang hard for my money, and after I put part into savings and pay bills, I spend the rest as I see fit. I just pulled a 20 hour work day on Tuesday to meet a client's requirements so don't assume that just because someone carries a high end bag, they are a mooch.

MK I feel like is everywhere and pretty common depending where you go in NYC.

Commuting on the train - MK, LV, Longchamp and occasionally Goyard.
Part of NY I live in it's mainly LV, Chanel flap or deauville and Gucci bags. YSL clutch is popular for evenings.
