Does anyone else bag watch?

I am such a bag watcher. But I am always disappointed! I never see any of the designers that are on TPF unless it's LV, Coach, or MK. I'd love to see a Givenchy, Chloe or Jimmy Choo in the wild but never do! I don't even see bags that are beautiful and different. Oh I saw a BV at Walgreens about a month ago. That's it.
It seems like a lot of women really don't care what they carry which I Do. Not. Get.
So far I have converted 2 people to be bag lovers, my sister and my next door neighbor. They bag watch too now.
Ha, I was watching Hoarders with my ex husband the other night and he said "Oh my God did you see that room!?" And I said "Yeah but did you see HER BAG?" and he just shook his head. Then I rewound it so I could see it again.

I’m never quick enough (or very subtle) to be able to take wildlife pics [emoji28] but I love that thread!

My phone is always out and ready to take a snap. Although, it’s not as exciting as when you are in a middle of a swarm of Hermes bags. I recently attended the grand opening party of Hermes Crystals in Las Vegas and I gave up after the 3rd bag I snapped a picture of. There was just too many! But oh boy... the caliber of bags that came out that night was jaw dropping!

I am an obsessive bag watcher. I commute to work from a ways away in NYC (going 30 blocks the neighborhood and income changes dramatically) and I see all kinds of bags. I make it a game - figure out if it's premier designer, contemporary designer, no name cheaply made bags, and my favorite spot, the quality bag that's from a less popular brand or even better, a brand that I don't recognize. I can name about 98% of the bags I see…gosh there's something wrong with me

I have a lot of trouble with patent leather bags. I can't tell if they are designer, fake , cheap or quality .I do like the look though .I saw one this morning while I was getting my coffee. Lol

My husband can’t tell the brands but he can spot quality much quicker than I can. He’ll ask me, “that bag over there? Is it a notable bag?” And I’ll turn and look to see a women with a Chanel jumbo or a Celine box.
