Does anyone have the marking in the bottom left? I always spot some on ebay...
Thanks

Yes, ma'am. Here you go (from a vintage XL Jumbo).......

Thanks! Cyndee!!!
cuz I am always confused with the markings' location....
Do you know what are the implications of different position of the markings though....?
and I am always after a vintage jumbo....but what year is considered as a VINTAGE?? I saw some Vintage are still in very good condition....as new i should say...:)

any ideas???
THANKS!!

In the past I believe that all Chanel gold CC hardware was hallmarked but I recently read in another thread that some of the newer CC's are not hallmarked. I'm not sure if that means that the newer hardware is not gold plated or if it is gold plated and just not marked?

Hopefully some of the more exprienced Chanel lovers on the forum can provide you with more info. If anyone can provide more information, please share!

TIA

The Cruise classic flaps all had hallmarked gold CC logos, but the new batch of structured classic flaps that recently came out (beg. in March or April 2009) does not have the stamp engraving / hallmark on the gold CCs.

Here is a photo that I took of the gold CC on the black caviar jumbo (Made in France) from the most recent shipment to the Chanel boutiques. As I wrote in the other thread, the Made in Italy flaps are still hallmarked. The Made in France ones are not hallmarked anymore. The Chanel SAs that I spoke to do not know why this is. Hopefully someone on tPF has more info on this.
