Yes I have one that was my first Chanel bought in Paris years ago. I will post a pic tomorrow for you.

Here's my 25 year old med flap. It's hardware is so brilliant still with no tarnishing after all these years...I never knew that there were different CC markings before this thread. Interesting.

Hi girls, I just received a vintage black tassel bag I purchased off eBay recently.. Authenticating it as we speak.. Has anyone seen an R (with a circle around it) in the top right corner? Also has Chanel ever used YMC zippers? Any info would be great! Sadly there is no serial number but the stitching and Chanel on one side and Made in Italy on the opposite side check out.. The chain is heavy and the stitching is good. Let me know

I bought my chanel caviar 2.55 in 2003 and it has a square hallmark stamped on the closure. There is a round (?) webbed inside the square. I am not sure if I describe it right but the square hallmark is there and the booklet says the hardware can be regilded.

I sent my basket bag to leather surgeons for a sprucing and my lock came back upside down but pretty easy to fix

You need to submit to the "authenticate this" thread. please read the first page of that thread to follow the directions when posting tomake sure you include everything for the authenticators. You'll get a better response and it's easier for them that way.
