Do you wear your designer bag to work/interviews?

I carry a designer handbag because I only have designer handbags in my collection. However, I would choose something more subtle, nothing monogram or flashy. I wouldn't want the interviwer to judge me based on the bag that i'm carrying!

This is such an interesting question! I agree with the consensus! A designer bag is fine as long as it's not screaming out logos because it is you that you have to sell not your outfit or your bag. Believe it or not wearing a Hermes Birkin bag to an interview for lets say a design firm, can be intimidating to the higher ups if they don't own one so it is always safest to wear "low key" on an interview. Good luck!

I'm so glad I found this thread. I'm looking at getting a new bag specifically for job interviews and I was looking at an LV. There are some other great suggestions here so thanks everyone! I never thought of worrying whether someone would think my bag was too flashy or showy (like the LV Mono) so it's definitely something I'm going to consider now!

I do most of the time, but the past few days, for example, have been such bad weather I didn't want to take an expensive bag out into the elements. Both of my MBMJs that I would consider are all black, and only one has a small placard that even says the designer's name, so most people probably don't even notice. I do bring a designer wallet all the time, but it is in whatever purse and also not heavily logo-ed that if I wanted to just run to the store with it everyone would know what it was.

I do bring my bags to work though usually don't use my LV mono bag. Not many woman here use designer bags and I feel like I'm being snooty, lol
They do know I have a fendi spy and prada bag but probably don't know what balenciaga is. I just self-conscious a little though I know I shouldn't.

I do wear designer bags to work, nobody cares:) The most important thing is that you have to feel comfortable with what you wear, including bags, to work, or anywhere else for that matter:)
