Thanks, @RandomNESS! I agree with you. If I feel comfortable with the place, the activities or the people, I take my Goyard.Depends on where I'm going. If its business or family and I feel comfortable with the place I'm going, yes. If its for pleasure (not that my family isn't "pleasure" lol), typically no.
Thank you, @lalame! That’s great to know!I've traveled on business with my Bellechasse. It fared pretty well!
Thanks, @lalame! So glad to know that your Bellechasse still looks brand new!I should say too, travel aside, I've used my Bellechasse daily as my workbag for a year and carry my Macbook Pro laptop in it. The straps show a bit of wrinkling where it connects to the bag but otherwise looks brand new still. I'm pleasantly surprised and looking to get a St Louis this summer for travel (but I wouldn't carry my laptop in it).
Yup. I almost exclusively use goyard totes for work trips which is every month.
Thanks, @demicouture! I love it that you bought it for travelling! And I love white!I actually have the St Louis mainly for travelling and easy errands. It is white and I really don't mind if it gets used I bought it for that reason
I'm glad to hear that. I'm in TX also in the sweltering heat. Hasn't happened on my black or grey yet, thank goodness!Glad they replaced!
It's been mentioned here, but not prolifically. I have white, grey, green and black and haven't experienced it, it's over 100 here in the summer and still no transfer for me, luckily.
I usually carry the dust bag in a large ziploc inside my bag and then stick the bag in the dust bag before placing it under the seat.I just bought the Hardy for travel. The straps fit me a bit better than the Artois, as I do not have thin arms. Glad to hear so many use these as workhorse bags. I have a trip coming up and was feeling some hesitancy in putting it under the seat. But it seems silly to carry it in another bag. These bags are meant to be used! But part of me is still unsure.
