Do You Shop For Handbags Alone, or With a Group of Friends, Partner, etc?

I shop so much for handbags (whether window shopping or "purchase" shopping) that I'm by myself by default. For an expensive handbag, I would either buy it alone or with my DH, who "respects" my obession.

But I do love to shop with friends when it's just window shopping.

I almost always shop for handbags alone. I usually am spending quite a bit and my friends are not as purse "obsessed" so to speak as I and would never understand plunking down over 2k for a bag. I can just hear them now LOL

On my own most of the time. I will text pics of bags to my ex husband and/or my sister for opinions. The only time I shop w/a friend or friends is when I go to LV.

I prefer going with dh and only dh he is the only person that isn't critical of how much I spend on bags... Shoes on the other hand, he wants nothing to do with my show binges... Lol

Always by myself. I don't know many women who appreciate bags the way I do so it's better left as a solitary pursuit. My husband could care less, which is fortunate since all he "knows" is that bags cost at least $4,000... He thinks it's a cartel, like OPEC or something.

i prefer to shop alone... if i really can't make up my mind, ill get it and ask for opinions later but i don't like being 'judged' for how much or little i may spend on something. also, i feel like when you're with someone, it sometimes feels like you'd end up spending more/less then you would if you were by yourself.

I agree. Once, I bought a Speedy 35 with three friends and they soon talked behind my back. Big mistake.

LOL same here; I only shop with someone if I am not going to buy anything or anything expensive.

Usually alone or with my two best friends who are equally bag obsessed... Otherwise it's just hard having to explain to people and my bf why I will drop 2k on a handbag... And never hear then end of why I buy another handbag when I have a closet full... (it's a collection!)
