Do You Shop For Handbags Alone, or With a Group of Friends, Partner, etc?

Alone; previously, the "friends" all have a way of judging the $$ I spend on Coach, even though one of them actually buys Chanel! Shopping together, or even just hanging out in your outfits tends to eliminate the superficial individuals really fast-so I guess it can be a good thing. The only people I'll ever take any crap from are my parents.

Usually alone as most have said here, I don’t have any family/friends that “understand” :graucho:
Occasionally my DH is with me but he gets bored and keeps eyes on the prices so more fun to go alone!

I know no one who’s into bags and some friends and family couldn’t afford the indulgence due to different commitments to me.

I shop online, using whatsapp with my SA or strangely enough my ex husband comes into London with me. He has a great eye for what’s nice and inspects every inch for quality, which sadly has to be done with most brands now.

Does shopping with the help of TPF count? Lol. Other than asking questions here, I mostly shop alone or with DH. I honestly wish I had GFs to shop with but the ladies I know aren't into handbags. Plus I don't want to seem like I'm showing off or flashing money so I go alone to avoid being judged or take DH for a second opinion.

My Dh's second opinion would always be NO. So he doesn't shop with me (and fortunately has no desire to do so)LOL

With my mom who I inherited all my luxury tastes from or ALONE. My friends and boyfriend think I’m nuts. I never corrected him when he says I paid $2000 for my Chanel Jumbo and boy this year. He questions getting engaged because of my spending habits so I keep quiet and don’t try to defend myself that I deserve it because I worked hard to earn my big commission check.

Alone or with a few trusted friends - only one of whom really understands my love for bags and jewelry.
Never with the BF - he once called Hermes "that horse store" and likes to refer to Chanel as "channel". I feel like I need to defend the purchase by saying "oh this has high resale value" or "it's a classic" whenever he comes along, but he never comments once I come back with a shopping bag ;)

ALONE. Most of the time, I only buy bags when I'm alone - I think I've made a bigger purchase 3 times so that I have company. And all of those times it's just been a quick pickup, the bag has been investigated beforehand. I like to have peace and quiet when I'm making decisions like this. I have a habit of occasionally asking my Mum what she thinks about a potential bag purchase - she's the one who got me into this bag business so she knows what I'm on about!

Mostly with my bf. Probably not a good idea lol, either he gets distracted at the men’s section and end up with something before I get anything or he gets too excited when I haven’t make up my mind yet! Right now he’s sulky because Ive passed on a seasonal gorgeous iridescent Chanel bag, kept on saying I would regret it and won’t stop reminding me about it!
