Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

Would love to see a pic, BBC. Have thought about going smaller than a B30 but I am convinced that only my sunglasses would fit in a tiny bag.

Believe it or not I have other lux clutches that cannot even fit my iPhone! I think that has me scared of small bags.

Ah, Saturdays are "bench" days for me as I spend most of the day sitting on a bench waiting...an hour drive, then DS1 has dance 10-11 and acting 11-3, then back home. So this is the best I can do for now. A pic showing the size next to a soda bottle (not enough caffeine for me on Saturdays):



And then what's inside: Bastia (forgot my calvi), pouch for several lipsticks, small silkin, iPhone, letter from yesterday's mail ([emoji6]), clif bar, checkbook, small Purell, cough drops, and there is still plenty of room even when I close the straps. The iPad mini will fit easily as well:

By the way, sunglasses will fit too - either my large Chanels or the Ray-Bans in their case. I just usually wear them on my head!

I think there's reasons to have both sizes. 35s are definitely more casual and can fit the stuff I need for the day. My 30s are largely more ladylike. I would not give up any of my bags at the moment.

I've been working with a personal trainer and now can deadlift 80lbs. Soon I'll be lifting over 100lbs, so a 35 is no problem.

That's awesome etoupebirkin that you are almost to 100lbs deadlift. Congrats!
I reached my goal of 100lbs deadlift last year and... let's just say that I'm more into toning and yoga now. But I felt so happy to accomplish one of my physical goals.

Back to the topic, I have B25s, B30s, & B35s. I'm petit, 5'2" tall, so my go to bag at the moment is 30s due to weight, not so much on the size. I tend to overfill my bag. [emoji39]

I'm 5'1 and my first B is a 40cm, a workout in itself so my new 35cm feels very light and practical im comparison (never getting close to a Goyard tote though). I only every tried a 30cm once in front of a mirror and found it a bit too small for my liking, so 35 is perfect.

At a point I was dead set on getting a B in Barenia leather - and the only one I found was a 30, but hey, it was Barenia, so I got it...
I am 5'9 tall, and when I tried carrying it it just looked so tiny; it was lost on my frame. A smaller Kelly like a 28 still looks good on me probably because of the trapezoid shape that makes it look more structured and formal, so it works as a smaller 'occasion' bag, but the Birkin - to me - is just such a casual style (rectangle), and looks most harmonious when it looks quite large and roomy. Especially a brown barenia, which is very casual. I ended up selling it without taking it out even once, that was a shame and I certainly learned my lesson - no B30s.
Now I have a B 35 and I'm very happy with the size. I think I could even handle a 40, size wise, but I prefer 35 because the 40 would probably be more of a workout tool than a bag for the heaviness of it!

YES! It's a 25! And I can easily close it without stretching out the straps with all this in it. The scarves are actually a pair of Savana Dance Twillies, I love the design in this size. [emoji177]

I prefer 35. i really fancy big bags. it's just much more convenient using a bag with a lot of space!
