i'm a 5'5" 120 lbs (50 kg) and i would prefer a size 30. for me, it's more proportional than the size 35. b35 seems too bulky for me :sweatdrop:

however, i have friends who are more petite than me and prefer b35.
so it really depends on someone's personal preference though

hey fabulous ladies,

i'm getting an orange birkin 35 soon (keeping fingers crossed), do you think a guy can carry off a size 35? i've seen the 30 and i think its too small for a guy, i'm about 5'10".
i just can't wait for the day when i hold it in my arms...gonna be my first Birkin! :D

i actually love the size 30 more and its up to my bag capacity compared to size 35 but i cant pull it off...the size 30 birkin looks tad to small for me, kelly 28 is fine though, but i still crave a tote so i opt for HAC 32 =)

A 35 is a great size for a guy. I am a guy as well and my 1st birkin is a 35 as well but my next one will most def be a 40. I use mine as a school bag/tote so it gets some heavy use.

I think it all depends on how you carry it. A 35cm Birkin can look bigger and less dainty if you carry it unstrapped with the sides "batwinged" out. Plus, if you don't carry around a ton of stuff, the 35 may be big enough. Congratulations on your Birkin!
