Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

I love the 30cm Birkins, but think I could size up to a 32cm HAC for more room. The 35cm looks fine on me but is too heavy in some leathers and bulky overall. Those corners would get banged up in a heartbeat!

It depends upon your life style. My 30 cm sometimes feels a little small. My 35 cm fits everything I need, plus all the stuff my DH, DD and DS give me to carry. I am 5' 2." but both sizes work well. The 30 cm can be more versatile, due to the fact it can be a little more formal.

I personally prefer the 35 for daily regular use but I like the 30 for its versatility - easier to go from day to night with a 30.

I am petite and definitely find 30 cm to be a better fit than 35 cm. I also find the 35 cm a bit too heavy to carry as well.

I am 5'1" and i use the 30cm B and the 32cm HAC. I always feel that the next bag would be a 35cm Birkin but everytime i try one on, it feels too big for me. The breadth makes the bag sort of 'stick out' more than a 30 B or a 32 HAC when worn (at least for me anyway).

I am 5'2 and i like 30, it fits all my essentials. for some reason, i find the 35 a bit too casual. but that's just me..

35...its a tote bag so I need the room inside of it to actually serve that function...30 doesn't have enough space for my tote bag needs
when I want an evening bag for just a few essentials...it is time for a Kelly or Chanel flap or something similar
sometimes the 35 is too small for what I need to tote around so I have a 40cm for those days
All that said I'm 6ft

i have to say 30cm for exotics and 35cm and 40s for leather just my personal way 30cm in exotics can do more day bag cocktail dinner yet 35cm and 40cm look divine in leather on a more sporty chic sense i guess

i just got my birkin its a 30. its really a great size for me i'm 5'3 and wear flats most of the time

I, too, prefer a 30. I use mine quite a bit and am leaning toward 25 for my next one. I am 5'4", so I suppose I could do a bigger bag, but I like the proportions of the 30 better, and it easily goes from day to night.

Couldn't agree more BBC! I too could wear a 35 as I'm a hair short of 5'7" however, I find a 35 too heavy on it's own and not mention with all that hand bag real estate how heavy it would be after I filled it with H S.L.G.s. But I have to agree with BBC on the proportions of a 30 and the ease of transition from day to night- these 2 things were the end all be all for me.
