Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

I love both sizes for different reasons. I can't decide which I prefer more, so I'm happy to have options. There is quite a difference between a 30 & 35 - especially when you put them side by side. One is a purse; one is a tote. As many others have stated, a 30 is easier to transition into evening although I usually just like to take a clutch to dinner. A 35 is perfect for when I need to carry more things or slip my Macbook Air in or just want a larger "tote" look.
Both function very well in winter - I can carry everything I need & still place my sunglasses, gloves & hat inside then drape my shawl or scarf on top of both bags. As for form, I think both sizes look lovely. Both look great during the day. A 35 can definitely look like a bit too much in the evening. I always find it odd when someone carries one to an evening function unless I know they've come straight from work (I'd tuck a Jige inside & leave my B in the car).
I don't really think anyone knows which size they prefer until they start carrying one. I do know a 40 is too large for me & a 25 is adorable but wouldn't function well for my needs (unless it was an exotic in an unusual, bright color - & still I'm not sure I'd go for it). I'm not in love with the shape of the HAC on me but think it looks divine on others.
I think H is about as bespoke as women can get - a rainbow of colors, an array of skins, a lovely selection of shapes & a plethora of sizes for us to choose from

I am 5'8" and the 35 felt more comfortable. Plus I have two kids and need a larger bag to carry all their goodies 
I prefer the way the 35 looks...unfortunately I have neither a 30 or 35 but some day soon

Ditto.. someday soon too. I am leaning towards 35 notwithstanding my frame. 5'2.. under 100 lbs.

I have a chance soon to select my next birkin (and hopefully then go on a BIrkin BAN), I can't decide if I will use a 30 or a 35 more because both rock my world. Does anyone know if 30 is harder to come by in the US????I read somewhere they don't have a lot of 30's in US H stores because they go to Asia. BTW I am 5'2" medium build. Both sizes look good.

.I can't speak for the US but I live in Europe and the 30 size is definitely harder to come by at my local H. store. It seems that 35 is most popular size here.
Which one do you like most, the 30 or 35? 35 is more tote while 30 can be more elegant and purse looking. I really like both sizes but I have a slight preference for the 30. I ordered my first 30 a while ago and I hope it will suit me.
Depends on what you want...a purse or a tote.
A 30 in a dark color is nice to use as a purse..transitioning to evening.
The 35 is a great tote size...
The exotics look best in a 30 (IMO)....
After collecting both sizes and a kelly I now prefer a kelly to a birkin 30. I think of a birkin as a more casual bag.

I think Ill leave it up to the H Gods for now since each size has lots of plusses and I unfortunately will never be able to get the same bag (color and leather ) in a 30 and a 35!!! lol:true::true::true:
