Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

Hi bgmommy, I'd suggest you try the 30cm bikin at the store before making a decision... I love the 30cm better then 35cm because I'm petite, also lighter in weight. And, 30 cm holds more then 32 Kelly.
are you SURE that SO was actually placed and is expected. 4 years is along time for a bag that is a SO in composition but not materials. both colors are ongoing...i hate to say this but it sounds a little off to me.
Thanks Gina 123 - I am worried it is too much like the Kelly! I am 5'6 1/2 - 120 lbs...I can't get to the store - it's far away. I too worry like Kallie Girl that order was not accepted although there were other "special" order that have not arrived. The 'special" seems to be the different color lining, but FOUR years!!! First of all, i will check with the SA to see is the 35 really coming (if so, roughly how long will it be?)? Then if not, what do you think of 30, do you think it will be too small for you since you mentioned abt the kelly 32. I will definitely go for the one that i REALLY want. If you get the 30 while you are not "fully" satisfied, then you may regret it. But of course if the waiting period is another FOUR year

I am a 30cm birkin girl, but wait for the 35cm. Pass on this 30cm. Perhaps you can ask that they call you when 35cm gold bags are in. Seems like they just did another batch, so I would not be surprised if they would have one very soon. 4 years is a RIDICULOUS amount of time.
I agree - 4 YEARS!!!! I just don't know what to do about it!!! I thought the gold with orange lining would be cool and a little different, but not over the top and still classic. NEVER thought the wait would be this long! Especially when I got "the call" for the Kelly within a month or two!
Matter of personal preference...I treat the Birkin as a tote, no matter whether in leather or exotic, it still looks like a tote to me. I use my 35 B more during the day and my 30 B for special daytime occasions only. Nice to have both cuz it's a different look too.

For everyday use,I looove big bags, so I prefer 35 (40 even better

I am a 35 person myself, but I am currently thinking of buying a 30. I strongly believe that the 35 birkin is more of a causal bag. At this point, I need something more versatile, i.e can be used for evening occasions as well as for shopping. I also, saw the 30 birkin in person. It feels slightly bigger than my 32 kelly.
