Gosh! I too have a dilemma over 30 vs 35. I have ordered a 35 Birkin 4 years ago - Gold togo with orange lining (which has really delayed the bag) gold hardware. It is still not in, but they offered my a 30 in gold with gold hardware that can be mine now! I already have a blue jean Kelly in 32 that honestly seems small to me - HELP - I need your thoughts!!!! I need to decide by Monday!

Can you go in to see the bag in person? That usually makes such a difference. That way you can see if the size suits you and if the bag makes itself known that you have to have it right away.

Of course, see the bag in person.

However, I think a 30 birkin and a 32 kelly holds about the same amount so I would wait for a regular 35 gold birkin if I were you.

Thanks Seton - I wondered if 32 Kelly and 30 Birkin holds about the same...I can fit everything I need in my Kelly, but think I prefer a more versatile bag.

Well, look at it this way. Ask yourself if you bought the 30cm...and a month from now the store calls to say the 35 you originally ordered is in...would you be mad at yourself if you could not get the 35cm with orange interior instead? You never know what the future holds...especially with Hermès!

bgmommy - i posted these in the size reference thread. i think the 30 and the 35 are completely different looks. personally i prefer the look of the 35 on me, but the 30 is really easy to carry. for reference i am 5 1.

I'ved tried both on and I find the 30 looks too small on me-I'm 5'5 100lbs-the 35 looked more porportional (sp?) for me...and I tried to put everything from my GP into the 30 and it was stuffed! Hope to get a 35 soon:graucho:

Those shots are perfect for showing the difference between the two sizes ... such different looks, indeed!

SORRY, no help here, but, we need both, no going back and forth .. hehe.
These days I find myself reaching for the smaller one ..
.. now looking for a even smaller one (off topic -25cm):shrugs::thinkin::shrugs:
