Do you have any weird bag behavior?

I would have to say that I stare at them constantly and try them on in front of a full length mirror with different outfits. Sometimes I feel like I build my wardrobe around my Handbags instead of the other way around. 
hhaha... and I though I was the only one with such weird habits!!
I will place all bags not in use in their dust bags, all the way on top on my wardrobe to prevent anyone touching them..
Some of the bags I dont really dare to use as I am scare they might oxidised and the leather will change color eg, LV leather straps..
Seriously love the scent of leather bags and will stare at it like a dork for god knows how long, smell it and hug it.. esp my newer babies.. LOL..

I cover my handbag with a small blanket or towel when in the car! It's really not the strange, but my BF sure thinks it is, and a couple of my friends do too. It's to keep the sun off them. Especially with bbags sun can really change the appearance of the color....I just dont want to take my chances.
Also I can set a bag down with out first rubbing my hand along the surface to make sure it's not wet and to brush off any crumbs, debris, or funky stuff. Just cant do it! It's almost a ocd thing!

When I first get a new bag, I put all of my "stuff" in the bag right away, and wear it around the house (yes, even if I have no place to go).
I do this too!!! I'll even find something to do just so I can go out with my new bag!!!!This is such a fun thread! Its nice to know we're not alone!
My grandmother had a strongly held belief that you never gift someone a purse or wallet without putting some money into it first. It was something she always did whether giving us new bags or one from her own amazing vintage collection. I never ever thought of it as weird though, just some endering superstition she held on to, probably from her own childhood. (I have the last bag she ever gave me stored away with other keepsakes with the money still in the pocket.)
Yes! My family does this too! They say it has to be pennies, though, and new ones at that (if possible).
OMG...I do this too! Mostly because I cannot stomach paying $35/day parking so I have to take the subway to work
Also store my bags with towels & old stuffed animals stuffed inside them to help keep the shape
I think I am weird in a way because I carry my bag around even when I am home - sort of. If I go upstairs, my bag does too. I always need something in it whether it be my phone or lipgloss or something. Most people I think usually come in their house and hang their bag up or drop it somewhere until they leave again....I don't. And NO ONE in my house touches it but me! My kids know that if they need something out of it, that have to ask me. They have been trained!

So far, I can only think of 2 things I do...one is transfer all of my junk into it right away so I can carry it immediately.
The other is something that ALL of you will think is very strange I am sure...I am a horrible "mother!" I don't care which bag it is or how expensive it is, I just throw it anywhere. Yes, even on the floor of a restaurant if they have round-backed chairs where it can't hang. I treat them horribly! And when I am not using them, they are in a pile in the bottom of my spare closet. They get creased and out of shape. It's bad. All of the dust covers are folded up in a drawer somewhere - never to be used again. One of my Gucci's (the Pelham) has a hole worn in the side where I've clipped my Blackberry.
I bet from now on, though - after reading this thread - I take a little better care of them. At least for a while. I am really hard on shoes, too.

Sometimes I wonder if I have a life. I will have a few bags in my library (where computer is) and at any given time depending on my mood I switch out the contents to whatever bag I want to use before I go out.
There are 3 bags sitting on my reading bench right now, but there's been as many as 7 bags. Once a friend dropped by and she thought I was selling them LOL
The bags don't stay in any other room, just in my library room or stored in my walk-in.

When I am bored, I sit beside my bag and pet/fondle/smell it, sometimes I even talk to my bag (hope i am not going nutcase)
When raining, i actually cover my bag with my umbrella more than myself. I always make sure during rain my bags gets the most shelter instead of me.
When walking in a crowded area, I always thought to myself, "You can accidentaly knock against me, please leave my bag alone."
