Do you have any weird bag behavior?

I love the smell of the leather too. I am very OCD about their care, too.
I change bags very often, so the one going to "sleep" get's perfectly cleaned, stuffed and put in it's dust bag.
NEVER on the floor or near potential hazards either.

I sometimes take them all out just to smell and look at them

I also sniff my leather bags (and no, I don't believe I have a problem - it's under control) and I definitely do the whole try-it-on-in-front-of-every-mirror-and-from-every-angle thing with new bags. :shame:
Once I was at a friend's with a bag I'd only had a few days and it started raining (actually it was more like sprinkling). I asked for a trash bag when I left and put my bag in it.

I always sleep with my current favorite bags, standing uprite next to me. I also pet them and take LOTS of pictures of them from every angle

I'm so happy i'm not alone............I also do what most do- have a "raincoat" in case it rains,require an extra seat in restaurants for my bag,enjoy its smell etc.. i also place whatever bag i'm using on a low table beside my bed and a lot of times just turn to look at it and smile.:shame:

1) I carry a large garbage bag inside all my bags -in case it rains.
2) I barely ever put it down, except on my lap or in my car.
3) I wait a while before I completely open the shopping bag, tissue paper and any wrappings a new bag comes in. I look at it a day or two. It's sort of my idea of foreplay. (anticipation is so powerful).

When I'm driving my bag has to be in the front seat where I can see it. I stare at it when I'm sitting at stoplights. If someone is sitting in the front seat, they have to hold my bag.

The other day I was shopping for a baby sling and I tried them out by carrying my bag around the store in them. DH said "I'm surprised you don't have dreams about giving birth to a Coach purse."

I never put my baby on the floor, always keep them stored fully stuffed in their own box and shelf, when I first get a new bag I have to try it on with tons of different outfits, the list goes on and on...

Once I got up in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep, and I went into my closet and changed out my bag for the next day. Then I went back to bed.

I love this thread! I had to stop in and share my wierd bag behavior... I almost always fall asleep with it on the pillow next to me its first night home. If I can't (the BF is using said pillow), I will put it on my night stand so that its the first thing I see when I open my eyes in the morning.
