Do you find yourself liking the old designs of Louis Vuitton bags?

I am all for the classic, timeless pieces from LV. I like Vachetta and miss seeing more mono and vachetta pieces.
I regret not keeping my Palermo PM and wish I have the funds to buy a Trevi PM back when it was available 
I love the older styles and quality so much better! I just recently purchased a roses neverfull from the 2007 collection that I am in LOVE with! It is so beautiful and was glad I was able to pick that piece up off my wishlist. I find that most bags I'm trying to locate are many years old and are now hard to find. I love the roses, illustre collection with the travelers, the old hearty canvas and the more traditional styles of years past. The hunt for me is real 
I personally do not like the new styles of the bags. I feel they are too flashy and I don’t like all the hardware on them. To me, LV is trying to and appealing to the younger set. I like quality designer handbags, but like them a bit more understated, kind of like a quite confidence where I know it’s a quality piece without flashing it. I have moved away from LV for this reason. Our tastes are allowed to change. I do however still like the classic LV bags. Just my honest opinion.
We’re lucky though for us who are eyeing on the classics! I can find brand new items below retail and very happy about it. What sucks is if you can’t find a certain model that you want or the condition is too used up..
Agreed. I appreciate the styles from the early to mid 2000s but they do look dated now. I am hoping that style of that time period comes back in fashion again like the 90s did. I am ready for a modernized 2000s style/look.
I strongly prefer the old designs. I guess I’m just getting older. I’ve been stalking 15-30 year old bags on Fashionphile. The lower price point doesn’t hurt either.
I only have vintage- some classic styles like Alma or Speedy, some not. I love that they are simpler and more classic. If I want bling or color, that’s what bag charms and twillies are for. Today’s styles are the ones that will be “dated” in 5-10 years.
I definitely prefer the older styles aesthetically and financially. The newer models aren't attractive to me and the constant price increases are gratuitous. I personally feel the newer models look dated within a year of release while the older LE pieces are still super relevant and eye-catching especially with the Y2K trend. Heck, I don't even think it's a trend anymore as it's been the hot thing since 2017ish.
I like the old models like Saumur, cabas and wish they would return.
I think the classics are some of the best pieces in LV. I with they would bring back the GM Alma, I miss Montsouris with vachetta, I love the Deauville and classic Alize. They give any outfit some gravitas.
