Do you carry your LV in the winter?

The only Coach I have is a grey leather wristlet and a small zip wallet. My hubby refuses to buy me any more Coach purses. I still admire them. They have beautiful colors on their new leather bags. All my LV's are DE so I'll be using them along with my Gucci bags. But it doesn't get that cold or do we get snow in San Antonio. :-) it wil be in the mid 80's today.

Btw I've had no trouble selling any of my Coach bags. My hubby posts them on CL and most of the time I do make a profit or break even. But the last few I've bought them at the outlet.

So! I recently got moved from the Southeast to the Northeast! Having grown up in South Florida, getting used to a REAL winter is definitely going to be an adjustment for me. I was previously stationed in South Carolina and Georgia where it got cold-ish but never snowed (outside of the random ice storm and everyone was stuck inside for days lol).

I have a DE Bloomsbury and it never got too much use before but its getting a ton of use now! I find it easy to fit over a big coat (which I'm always going to be in since I have thin blood :p) and I'm not worried about the weather hurting the leather/canvas.

I was curious if anyone else has bags that they use for winter or if you put your LV away all together when the weather sucks. I'm new to to this whole winter thing...thank goodness for Humidifers!:smile1:

Weather doesn't usually stop me from wearing whatever bag I want, although I do have a Longchamp Le Pliage Neo for when it's REALLY bad out.

The cold is more a problem for me than it is for my bags -- I strongly suggest you invest in a Canada Goose parka and a pair of UGG boots! Welcome to the Northeast!

Welcome to the NE! I've lived here all my life - its nice to have seasons (what i try to remind myself .. in snow and below zero) :roflmfao: I usually throw my mono neverfull over my shoulder or use my Longchamp le pliage. I was thinking about picking up a DE speedy B. I was wondering how it would hold up too. I've read horror stories about the treated leather. I'm on the fence..

I used my portobello all last winter and this winter I broke out my Bloomsbury that I almost sold. I'm glad I did not it does work really well over winter coats. It also works well to be hands free when having to brush snow off my car. I store my lambskin bags usually though I broke out my Balenciaga day bag but I'll probably switch it back out. I'm not as worried about the snow as much as there us salt everywhere and it gets on everything from brushing against the car when getting in and out. The LV canvas can just wipe off.

We have crazy weather here in winter, a lot of rain and snow. I use all of my bags actually, I try to keep the lighter bags(piement, oak etc) out of the rain, but everything else I use and they are all fine:) I carried my Chanel classic double flap outside for 30 minutes when it was pouring rain, and it is as good as new, but I was really scared then and there!
