Do you carry your LV in the winter?

another vote for NF DE and Westminster. I have NF DE(no issues other than a little wrinkling, which should be normal, on one of the handles) and just got Westminster GM. I'll be rotating both for the long fall/winter...

Goodluck!

I actually just exchanged a mono speedy 30B for the Westminster. I wanted a bag that I could wear during bad weather (Ohio probably has better weather than Wisconsin :o) ). I am getting it tomorrow so I can let you know. I did try it on in the store and the GM was a great size and is comfortable under the arm.

What about something from the DE line....the Westminster (shoulder bag) & Verona. They're not so pricey & will be durable during the winter seasons. You can also buy Lovin My Bags Vachetta cleaner. I use it on all of my bags w/ the virgin vachetta leather....no water stains. If you already have water stains, you can clean some of the stain off if it isn't so bad. I would recommend cleaning the leather twice in one week the first time you use it just to protect it from future water stains. Afterwards, depending on usage I would clean the leather once per month if possible. Good luck!

I'm getting a DE speedy 35 (I think lol). Been using my friend's one and I love how low maintenance it is. Plus tons of room for extra layering pieces. I know it's a speedy but it's awesome winter bag.

The OP did say lower price range, so with that being said, I would suggest the Bloomsbury PM. It comes in DE, very roomy, durable, and on the lower price end, if not close to, the price of a speedy 35 or NF.

Let me know about your westminster experience please!

Those cloth tags are making me upset! Thanks for the information. Keep me informed:graucho:

I have not decided if its a dealbreaker otherwise the detailing is amazing on the bag...It is a great tote and seems that it will fit a lot. Much better than the speedy I returned......I may call around and see if there is a store that has a westie without the tag. Not sure if I am being overly picky about the tag or not.
