Do you carry your LV in the winter?

I live in the UK where the weather is wet and miserable, and I TRY to not use my bags with vachetta. But sometimes there's a particular outfit that I really wanna wear then I'll use it! But be really careful with it >_<

solai For the first few months I had it, it was summer so the rain/snow was kind of a gradual thing but definitely common during the winters. I'm not one to baby my bags so any watermarks that were there just evened out over time. It's really even now. I didn't use any protectant but maybe I should have because the airport security metal thingies left some nasty marks on the bottom from going through security without the plastic bucket :(

OMG. I have been trying to figure out what happened to the vachetta on the bottom of my keepall for months and couldn't think of what happened to it. I think I just figured it out now thanks to your post. Stupid nasty dirty security checkpoint conveyer belt. LOL!

Total whiteout conditions in Cleveland right now and my Damier Speedy made it through my day wonderfullly..again no worries and she got soaked!

Help me decide a winter bag please! I would like to stay in the lower price range because i just bought a Delightful GM, but all of the vachetta is STRESSING ME OUT! I already have a few large water stains on it :( So I need a moderatly priced, larger bag with very little vachetta or DE print. I am on the fence about the NF DE becuase of hoe common it is AND the cracking issue. I dont want anither stressful bag! I LOVE my Mon Speedy 30, but dont thin i want another speedy.

Damier E will be good because of the dark color in their straps. I think that a NF will be the lowest price to find. The new Portobello is gorgeous!

Ive had my DE NF GM and also have the Delightful GM :)

Let me tell you i always find myself with DE vs my mono bags an i really think the NF is a really awesome bag :) too say it is common yeah look at how many of us here on TPF have it and are "bag twins" LOL its the LV of the Brand :) but if u personally dont love it dont get it. I think similAr DE options would be Westminster GM. Maybe you may wanna consider a Speedy 30/35 or the New Portobello? At the prices we spend for our bags we definitly hVe to love em and use em awhole lot to get out $$ worth :)

Delightfull GM is such a great bag! I love mine even though i get scared of vachetta LOL

how bout totally? it doesnt have that much vachetta :thinkin:

for de there's westminster gm, neverfull

for lower price range, your best bet is neverfull de... its an awesome bag, i've owned it and its on my wishlist again
