Do you carry your LV in the winter?

Another Wisconsinite!!! I use my bags as normal except for the vachetta bags in case it starts to snow….I have no issues with canvas cracking …brrr!!!

Yay Wisconsin! I also have not had any canvas cracking!

I did just order this Coach bag, which should be great for winter use. The Rexy cracks me up.....

I currently have all mono Louis bags. I feel that maybe I need another option as I live in Maine and we get an actual Winter here with snow, slush, rain, sleet, etc. I have started to switch out of my LV on those days to another bag to keep my vachetta safe.

I'm not interested in a rain condom for my mono, but would rather like to see your favorite rainy or snowy day LV or non LV options.

Similar, we just moved to Maine! I have a good bit of nice leather bags that I bought within the last year and am wondering which ones to carry? The leather or the canvas ones?

This is a very real risk! I also had studs pop in cold weather. I probably would not dare to wear coated canvas as it's approaching -10 and it gets very stiff.

I honestly had no idea... hmmmm... today it was 28 degrees F.

I do, but I live in the upper-south, lower midwest area. It doesn't normally get very cold here for very long. I am just going from my house to my garage, from my car to wherever I am going and then back home. I am not walking long distances out in the weather, so I have never even thought it about it.

I’m in Boston and I mainly use DE bags. If it gets really cold, I don’t wander around outside much (car to office/stores/restaurants and back only haha!) so I didn’t find any issues with canvas - fingers crossed!
