Do you carry your LV in the winter?

When it is below -30C I don’t wear canvas because it can crack. Around -15C my DE speedy with strap works amazingly well in the snow and sleet.
Canadian here. I dont use canvas after minus -30 celcius. It can crack. Leather is better
Yikes! I feel cold just reading your responses! I’m in the northeast of US. It gets cold….but not that cold!

Here we occasionally get below 0, but rains all the time (without warning...) so I really hate to bring my bags out in the winter, I mainly use canvas shopper bags or longchamp... maybe bags in EPI leather would be ok for this kind of weather?

As already mentioned above - when it gets really bad (extremely cold, snowfall or all day raining) - Empriente Noir Pochette Métis and Empriente Noir NeoNoe are my go-to bags (PM more so as it’s older and more compact). As for non-LV bags, I find my grey Celine Micro Belt Bag and majority of my YSL bags are extremely hardy and can withstand any weather.

I live in Colorado, so we get all kinds of weather here. But I don't baby my vachetta on my bags. I mostly use my Alma BB and Speedy 40. Once I get my Noe back from repairs, I will definitely use that a lot as well. I have a Prada nylon backpack that I adore, but I just love my LV's so much better.

I live in Canada so understand the need for versatility. I would use the Speedy B 35 DE in my collection or other brands: Lululemon nylon bag, Coach black Market Tote, Kate Spade nylon bag
Second lulu nylon especially because it is super easy to wash! After a certain temperature you have to think less about fashion lol

I live in the UK where there are no real extremes (although of course sadly in recent times we’ve all been experiencing much more severe weather conditions than we’ve been used to) but we do get a lot of rain, more so in winter, and minus temperatures. I just wear whatever bags I want to. I will try to avoid vachetta if I know it’s absolutely pouring with rain before I leave the house, but otherwise I’ve been caught in the rain (and snow!) many times and have never had any real issues with water damage on my bags. I find them very durable, even the leather, particularly when it has developed a bit of a patina.
