So, I pulled out my large coach bag for winter so that I don't ruin the vachetta on my monos! I want to carry my LV's but would rather not stress about it!

I have been looking at a few coach and Marc Jacobs bag for this very purpose. But it's so hard for me to part with my LV!

I do have a coach signature GIANT bag that I love though. I bought it as a diaper bag, but now I carry it to work and as an over night bag. It has like 15 pockets, which I love, and seriously bothers me that LV usually doesn't have.

I have a couple of Coach bags and use them on and off im actually eyeing a black exotic lindsey i cant keep my mind off of. I only own 3 coach bags then discovered LV so dont have a very big collection. I love all my things equally :)

Agree! One of the good things about Coach is their many pockets.
Wish LV had a bag with that many at a reasonable price.

What about DE? That's what I carry in winter.

I have a de Eva that I have been using quite a bit lately. I start my first big girl job December 3rd so I'm trying to watch my pennies until then. I definitely have been eyeing the portobello and the de neverfull.

I carry all my LVs in Winter (except my summer bags like my Damier Azur purses and my Stephen Sprouse Roses speedy). I live in a very wet and snowy climate, with about 7 months of harsh winter, and I have never had an issue w/ my vachetta. I have had a few water marks land on the vachetta, but as they patina it always seem to even out :) I love my LVs and like to wear whatever bag looks best w/ my ensemble, so I do not limit them to only one season.

I do however, have a few purses that I consider my every day bags, and trust me I use and abuse them! These include my Neverfull GM monogram and my Black caviar Chanel Petite Shopping tote. However, the great thing about LV is that even though I am so hard on my Neverfull, it still looks great (for the 300 days a year I use it)! Plus, because I am more considerate of when and where I use my other LVs-even my 7 year old (oldest LV)-are in mint condition! I cannot think of another brand of bag that could go through all that I put my LV Neverfull through, and come out looking so good! As such, I believe LVs are the best bag for winter climates :)

I carry my LV's in the winter, but on rainy days I avoid carrying my mono ones. I will either carry my DE bags or my Coach Julia Op Art tote (gunmetal metallic leather) on rainy days.
