hi all! can anyone tell me how this wedge runs?:

I'm actually looking at the all black version which is a bit lower as well. my true US size is an 8.5 and I usually size up to a 9 in heels. I wear a 38.5 in miu miu and a 39 in CL. I'm a little late to the mark on this one and Nord's only has a 39.5 and I'm hoping/praying that I can make it work.

Does anyone own these flats and have you had any issues with the elastic stretching out or getting hard? I am wondering if the classic flats without the elastic are more durable. Also, do these get dirty easily and if so how do you clean them?

$550

Also, are they worth it??

The elastic ones have a non slip pad on the bottom while the classic flats are just plain leather. The elastic ones are also much more comfy. my only issue is are they as durable as the classic ones?

I have the second style, love them!
I bought the first style but had to return them, as the cut wasn't right for my foot - it is cut too low and my foot is kinda wide, just didn't look flattering
The other style has a higher cut and looks much better on me personally :smile1:

I have both styles of shoes that you have asked about. BOth are high quality and very durable, no issues there. I have the exact pair as in the first pic. Since they are a light ivory color and made from lambskin, I do have to be very careful with them as far as keeping them clean.

All of my ballerina flats though are in darker colors and I don't have to be nearly so careful.

Overall, I prefer the fit of the stretch spirits, but the ballerina flats are easier to care for. If you were considering the ballerina flats in a light color too, then you would likely need to be just as careful with them too.

I am not a fan of the elastic/stretch spirit style but I do own a pair of the classic ballerinas (second pic) and really love them! They seem to be holding up well (I wear them constantly when on business travel) so I am looking to purchase more colors of the quilted ballerinas next week.

I've also read that many women here takie their shoes to a cobbler to have the soles reinforced so that they last even longer. I have not done this with any of mine yet but intend to on ALL of my shoes going forward. HTH!

I've got the second pair you pictured and they are slippery. Once the spring comes and I'll wear them again I will definitely get new non-slip soles put on. Someone had written that the Chanel SA's recommend that you do that. I have a pair of flats that are similar to the first picture. They do take a lot longer to break in especially with that elastic. I think as far as durability is concerned they are both pretty good.

I have both. Mine is patent red, runs true to size gave me a couple of blisters in the second week (of walking inside scp) of usage but not anymore. It's comfortable and easy to clean. Just a Kleenex to wipe off the dust. The second pic Pair I haven't worn them yet

I had to return my elastic ballet flats; they ate the skin off the heels of my feet. I have worn the "regular" ones for many years now and never a problem.
