Do Chanel shoes run true to size?

I am a size 9 in non-designer shoes, size 39 in JC and 39.5-40 in ML. What size should I get in t-straps with patent cap-toe? Saks has black pair on sale in size 39 for $525. I need to decide whether I want them or not. I would not be able to try them on within the next 30 days (as I out of US right now) so might not be able to return them.

I think you'd need a 39.5 in those.

Thanks! I just placed an order for two pairs, one of which is size 39.5, with the understanding that I could return these shoes if they don't fit, even though it would be past 30 days normal return policy for sales items. I do hope that Saks honors what one of their SAs wrote to me in an e-mail.

Good luck with that. I hope you didn't order from Saks Beverly Hills. They're really strict with return policy, no matter what the SA tells you. But since you have it in writing, you should be ok.

I ordered them from Boston Saks and since I have it in writing (and there is lawyer in the family) I feel safe. Let's just hope my MIL does not flip out when she receives two Chanel shoe boxes and my Saks MC statement (with a few other sale charges).

I tried the pumps before and I need a 1/2 size up. Hope that helps!

Hi! I'm looking to get a pair of pumps (d'orsays?) with ankle straps but I don't know my Chanel size. I've never tried any on .... But for reference I usually buy US 8.5 or 9 for pumps and wear 39 for CLs. If this pair of Chanel pumps is size 40, is it too big for me?
