Do Chanel shoes run true to size?

Hi ladies,

I need some sizing advice. I wear a size 41 in flat Chanel sandals and flats. Do you think I would need a 41 or 41.5 in a high heel Chanel pump?

I was told heels run a half size smaller than flats, is that true? :confused1:

Actually I have a similar question! I was thinking of ordering Chanel ballerina flats from NM as they have them in 11 and 12 (US sizing) - I was thinking of getting the 12s. Would an 11 be a European 41 or a 42, what would at 12 be?

I'm usually between a 42 or 43. I hate having big feet :crybaby:, although Paris Hilton has big feet too so I feel slightly better! The Chanel boutiques in Europe only seem to stock up to 41.

You need to ask the sales associate to give you the European sizing marked on the bottom of the shoes. The shoes are always marked in European sizing, not US sizing - the US sizing is something the US sales associates do to try to help their US clients try to figure out what size they wear. My guess is the 12 is a 42.

No I don't have particularly wide feet or toes. I am normally a US 9.5 or 10 and get 41s in flat chanel styles. I just don't know if I should get a 41 or 41.5 lol...Thanks for the help thus far everyone!

Hi Ladies!!! this little girl needs help again...


So i had always wanted the runway pumps but could never afford to pay the full price cause i can cheat on purses and spend the $ on shoes that much but now that i am fulfilled with my purses for this year (yes its ending in 3 weeks soo i am sure i wouldnt get anything anymore~) Soo i was gonna get the runway pump as my last chanel for 09! and today i got a great offer on the runway pumps but they are size 37! sooo i was wondering if i would fit.. My size is usually 37.5 or 38.. Does anyone know if they run true to the size or smaller or bigger or if i would fit the 37s!! please let me know asap!

cuteangel777 - Chanel pumps are very true to size. But, if it's open-toe, sometimes you can slip on a half size smaller. I'm usually a half-size girl for pumps, but I can wear a full size (half size smaller) for open-toe pumps. I was able to score a pair of the patent open-toe pumps w/CC on back from cruise 08 during the Saks crazy sale. If the pumps are made of rigid leather closed-toe, chances of it getting loose are rare and do keep in mind that our feet may swell from time to time (sweat & weather issues). Hope it helps. ;)

Hi wai, These are gorgeous shoes. Chanel is true to size. I usually wear 37.5 and it fits me well.
