I returned a Chanel wallet and RTW jacket to my local Nordstrom which does not sell Chanel. They called the Nordstrom that you purchased it at and send it back to that location for you.

I was told that for Nordstrom Chanel is a boutique inside the store and only those cash registers can return the items.

Saks will return Chanel in the same department (handbags for handbags) without difficulty.

I'm not familiar with NM since there isn't one near me :sad:.

I just purchased two pairs from my local Chanel Boutique. Since the opportunity to try them on was there, I decided it was best to take it.

I agree with the posters here who suggest selecting one half size higher than usual. I am normally a US 8.0, and required size 38.5 for both a pair in lambskin and a pair in metallic calfskin.

They seem to run 1/2 size small. I want some for my birthday! I know my size (9) and color choice (black n' tan, baby!)
they're so classic and you can never go wrong.

i am an 8.5 and my foot is not narrow nor wide...very average width....and I have to get 39.5 to 40 in all chanel shoes. Sandals I can do with a 39 but barely and obviously only because they are open so they do not bother my toes...but in my ballet flats or chanel sneakers I have to get 39.5-40.....I agree though, go try them on. If you cant find a place to do that or are not comfortable that you can return them with no hassle if they dont fit when you get them then dont bother. Chanel shoes run very wierd!

Sooo I just purchased Spring/Summer silver booties a few days ago from ebay and I got a size 38. It was a pretty quick decision that I made and I was wondering how Chanel shoes fit? do they usually run small?? I normally take a size 8 or 38. In christian louboutins I take 38.5. 39s would be a tad too big. Guccis for me are usually true to size and I take 38.
Help!!!!!!!!!!
I hope to God they fit me. Especially since I had a recent size dissapointment from ebay. A Gucci runway denim jacket at a size "8" fit my size 2 sister. (I normally take 6- but thought 8 would definately be on the safe side, grrrrrr- OFF TOPIC)
Any help is appreciated...

I wear 37.5 in chanel; 37.5 in most manolo except patent heels which run large; 37 choo, 37 gucci; 37 miu miu. But in chanel ballet slippers (go down 1/2 size to 37); chanel cork platforms (up half size to 38); and some round toe chanel models (mary janes 38). By the way re your comment in clothing, i'm a 44 gucci or 42-44 dolce but 38-42 chanel (depending on the cut; but the italian and french sizes are not the same numbers: 6, 8, 10 US is I think 40, 42, 44 (Italian) but 38, 40, 42 french.

you talking about? I'm a sz 36 in chanel and most euro sz shoes and I bought them in sz36.5 and I think sz36 would fit me as well. So I guess sz38 would be fine for you. maybe go up 1/2 sz would be on the safe side :tup:

Dollymic, yeah those are the booties, love them to death. I just received them today and the 38s fit me fine! They are also way more comfy than I expected, phew...soo happy!
Its hilarious, I also bought the perforated silver rodeo drive bag, I believe it might be too much matchy silver. Although I thnk it would work because you have to be very specifc when matching those shoes, they are just very unique. Im very satisfied now!
