Love your reasons for MCM! It's interesting as I was around in the '80's when MCM was right up there with LV in cost and prestige. I owned an MCM before a LV ! Love them both. I had the small mini MCM backpack because I wanted the Palm Springs but couldn't bring myself to pay that much, I ended up selling the MCM and I'm glad it helped me in deciding if the PS was worth it lol cute tiny little bag though

I did the same thing!! Also I feel that the mcm was sturdier after looking at the ps mini

The Patricia Visetos tote from farfetch.com looks really close to the Pochette Metis in my opinion. But I couldn’t find this particular model from the MCM website.

I have a LE MCM backpack that I love in the Baroque print! It is not the traditional MCM colored canvas
I had it in the Blue. However, my car got broken into and it was stolen. I ended up finding a red one to replace it!

I recently bought the cognac camera bag because I had no luck at all to get a LV Favorite MM. The quality of the MCM bag is amazing, it is sturdy and flawless. I am really surprised.

The Patricia in this leather is constructed so it has more structure. The MCM leather itself is very nice. But I like the squishier Mylockme more. Just my opinion.

I used a MCM cross body camera bag in the 80s and really enjoyed it. I took it out the other day and it feels sticky! I purchased a handbag cleaner which did nothing to restore it. I have the feeling it is not made well and I would not purchase another one.

Yes, I purchased the brown bear backpack a few months ago. I love it.
