Bliss tips? what are those? are they the little plastic-like white smiles? Yeah im waiting for my sheek white color lol i am just using other stuff for now..
Yes, I believe that they are made of thin plastic...here is a link

I think they are similar to dashing diva. I think there have been more positive reviews on dashing diva but the nail bliss have been much easier to find as I have several Sally's near my home.

Hmm i tried the kiss ones (only because i was at walgreens and it was going to snow so i needed something to do that night lol).
So do you glue them on?

Hmm i may have to look into them i just use the guides which seem to work just find for me... i use the guides to do glitter french too

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I hate stick-on french tips, I can never get them to work. Freehand is easier. At this point I'm just looking for a pink polish, though, so I'll get the kit if the color is good.

I hit up CVS yesterday and got the babydoll pink color, plus a sally hansen light pink, so we'll see if either one of them is what I'm looking for.

its really sheer if you put on multiple coats you might get what your looking for Personally im switching to Gelish colors since they have more and cure in the LED light... but whatever you do DO NOT use the french white tips from Sensationail they are awful, they peel up the same day you put them on... multipe people complain to sensationail about it (check the facebook page) and they have no suggestions on what to do... so i just use gelish sheek white and the sheer pink and do my own with a brush...

The sally hansen gel strips at least for me peeled off in a day or so... i would hit up sally beauty supply they have a big selection of gelish polish lots of colors (alot more than sensationail) they may have the pink your looking for instead... Also i like the gelish better its alittle thicker and is stronger it seems

Thanks! I actually hate nail polish strips, so I got the Sally Hansen gel polish in addition to the sensationail color. I swatched them and they look like they might be perfect! I'll post pics of baby doll pink in the swatch thread when I get a chance to put it on.

Thanks! I loved pink smoothie from all the swatches I've seen, but I recently tried it and on me it's kind of a peachy nude that blends in with my skintone (I'm really pale). It's pretty, but I think the baby doll pink color will be closer to what I want.

Understand that, that's the way Gelish Little Princess was on me I hated it lol

Hi, I'm new to the forums and just bought my SensatioNail kit on Monday. LOL you guys in the States think it's over priced, to buy in the shops here in the UK it's £69.99 - that's $110!!! :wtf:

So far I am delighted with the result, though I know that I haven't capped the free edge of the nail correctly as I'm rubbish at it, but it's holding up well so far :) Usually I smudge/dent nail polish within about a nano-second of applying it so I'm really pleased with this :p

But have read several reviews (inc on this thread) which recommend using the Gelish separate base/top coats instead and that they'll still work with the lamp that came with the SensatioNail kit. Anyhoo have just rung my local "Sallys" shop to discover that the Gelish, as a pro product, is only available if you have a trade card. Booooo.

Also GUTTED to discover that the SensatioNail french manicure system doesn't work; I love it french manicures, they're so elegant, and I was intending to buy it and make it my main "look" rather than colour. I'm rubbish at drawing freehand white tips - has anyone found a good solution??

Thanks and hello to all!!! :)

I think most of us just freehand the smile line w a white gel Polish and clean up any mistakes w a brush dipped in alcohol and then curing. The more you practice the better you will get at making a nice smile line.
I also prefer the gelish base and top coats and use them w different brands of Polish just have to make sure the Polish is led curable if using the sensationail lamp

Yeah i just free hand mine with gelish sheek white and pink smoothie. I also use the guides from sallys too sometimes its just quicker. But i cure only the first coat of the tip color then paint 2nd coat and take off the guide then cure otherwise it can get stuck.

You can find gelish on amazon for sale they are the same prices (at least in the US) as sallys. Gelish has a mini brand that is supposed to be for the public it stinks they dont have it there. I would def say go online and purchase the basix kit and colors that way... the colors are awesome (and tons more then sensational) and the light will work with it. It says the curing times on the gelish bottles.

There are so many other brands that you can use also... just make sure like baybcakes said that its LED cureable too not just UV.

Thank you. Will have a look on line and see what I can find :smile1: Have used the tip guides before with normal polish and find it never really worked very well for me, even when I tried to put on thin coats of the white polish for the tips. I'm right-handed so when I do freehand tips they're OK on my left hand but rubbish on the other side...

I find with the guides, that even with a thin coat of white polish, it seeps under the edge of the guide and so when the guide is removed, there is an uneven edge left behind. And previously if I've stuck the guide down hard enough to get rid of this, when you peel it off it takes half the basecoat with it - though this might not happen with a cured gel base...

I have to say though that so far I am REALLY impressed by the SensatioNail! I did my nails Monday night and with normal polish, by Tues morning it would be chipped to hell. But it still looks amazing - and I've been wrestling with windscreen wipers on my car, and chucking grit around, and digging snow/ice out from around my car tyres - and only one nail has chipped a teeny bit and that's my own fault for not capping the free edge correctly!!
